I will always cherish it.

Until I get hungry.

I couldn't have guessed that was humor. The internet fails to show emotions.

I love science.

I think you all need to smoke a bowl and do this again.

Take a nap.

Superman: All the major fault lines are shifting. The metal that has been removed from the earth and is now sitting in our buildings, and vehicles have now shifted the magnetic fields of the planet.

Fault lines are based on plate tectonics, which has nothing to do with magnetic fields.

We disrupt the magnetic field to some extent, but not a whole lot, because most of (read: like 90 percent) of the metal of earth is below the earth's crust in the mantle and core.

There is something that can be done outside of surgery for a joint like your shoulder.

It involves breaking up the scar tissue in the joint from the injury, and electronic stimulation of the muscles around it. But it's painful, as it's deep tissue massage along with powerful involuntary muscle contractions over a period of time.

I asked one of the docs about it. The Ortho guys are really nice. This man took a long time to get a woman's wedding ring off her finger in one piece because she was more upset about losing that than she was about losing her finger.

Sentimentality.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't persistent state come into conflict with Red Shift and general movement of celestial bodies being more or less uniform?

Why would it conflict?

Night: From what I've seen it looks pretty cool, but I'm just watching playthrough vids (since I have no PS3 nor any access to one anytime soon) and the guy doesn't do a whole lot of exploring, if there is any to be had. Looks fairly linear, humanity lives underground in tunnels and rail systems beneath Moscow while the surface is a bombed out ruin, mutants run rampant both above and below ground, and life is barely worth living. Similar to the Fallout and Stalker games.

I like it.

I'm poor. Sounds like something I can't afford.

Same with ultrasound, which is also apparently helpful for injuries like this one.

I think the fields are disrupted more than we would care to own up to. You can't have cellphones that are powerful enough to disrupt a heart rhythm not have a bigger effect on a larger scale.

Butterfly effect.

Cell phones have as little to do with the heart's rhythm as they do with the Earth's gravity

I had that done when I threw my back. Deep tissue massaging felt pretty good actually, with only a few twinges. Then again, I didn't have anything as major as what Darth's sounds like.

The ultrasound breaks up the scar tissue.

Too bad you weren't near a dolphin aquarium or something. The sonar they use is the same type as an ultra sound.

Put on a wet suit, and swim with dolphins?

I'm not even sure mine's that severe. After taking a break the first time it got hurt, I could go right back to training.. and did, up until recently when I re-injured it.

I'm not sure wtf deep tissue massage is supposed to do, but I could probably use some on my lower back and shoulder.

EDIT:: Don't wanna get raped by dolphins.

If you walked through an Intensive Care Unit with a cellphone on, you'd be kicked out by security and be setting alarms off left, right and center.

Kroww: I had deep tissue done for my back. It hurt, but in the long run it worked. I'd be black and blue from it. The guy who did it had huge hands, and was strong.... and Russian. *melts* It was an amazing feeling.

I'm not all that keen about the 'swim with the dolphins' thing I'm signed up for on my vacation.

I don't do well with large animals.

I spent half a day in a tree I'd been chased into by two very happy, and large horses. Un-frickin-real.
