Or rather, the movie that started that whole sortof genre of "It's the future, therefore we no longer care about human life." I think Running Man beat Rollerball to that by like...20 years.

The original Rollerball is a 1975 film. The Running Man was in 1987.
You're thinking of the 2002 remake.
