Sabre sighed lightly to himself, it was a little busy in the shop today. Quietly he watched the potental masters walk into the shop and a few transactions happen. He found himself hoping those that left today didn't go to the wrong hands. Why he worried he didn't know, it wasn't like he could do anything about it. Letting his hands rest on his crossed knees, Sabre prepared himself for another long day.

Alex drops her gaze before he could spot her looking. She was feeling nervous and jittery all at once; although she wasn’t sure if it’s his frightening presence or just her nervous about being caught or just out alone. Alex could often tell a person by that little intuitive voice in her head. That’s when a young man with long blond hair caught her eyes. Very uncertain, Alex walked over, closer to the cage to talk to him. “Hi…” she said, hesitant and quiet, her hand still on the purple ribbon tied to her neck.

Sabre looked up at the girl who spoke to him. He could easliy see she was nervous, petrifed even. Glacing over her, he was a little surprised to see the ears on her head. A neko? Hmm...I've never see one this close before He thought to himself a he looked her over. People like her were rare back in his home region. "Good morning, Mistress. How may I be of service?" Sabre asked his voice soft, a small smile coming to his face.

Alex’s ears went back slightly as he spoke. Another nervous habit of hers, not that she was afraid of him. That instinctive voice wasn’t speaking up so she forced herself to relax slightly. ‘Nothing to worry about… Just breathe,’ she thought to herself. “I was wondering what your name was…?” Alex asked as she forced her voice not to be as quiet. Surely it was hard to hear her, what with her already soft tone of voice. His smile helped with her effort, already feeling like she could trust the voice’s silence.

Curious he watched her ears move. Had he done something that made here wary? He hoped he hadn't done anything to scare her. "My name is Sabre, Mistress." he answered with a small nod to her. He couldn't help but smile at her still. Something about the way she held her self, it was...what's the word? Endearing? Yes that would work. Sabre kept still, his voice and face calm, not wanting to frighten the girl. "May I be so bold as to ask your name, Mistress?"

“Of course, sorry about that,” Alex said, her hand lifting to brush the bangs out of her face. ‘How stupid and rude of you…’ She thought to herself. Her father raised her better than that, well, the nanny did anyways. Her ears began to come forward, his voice coxing her into a feeling of security. “Alexandra Mar, but I prefer Alex.” Her long and slightly fluffy tail twitched to the left. She glanced behind over her right shoulder. ‘Stop being so paranoid…’ She thought, looking back at Sabre. “Do you mind if I ask how you came here?” Alex asked, hesitance coming back to her voice.

"You have no need to appologize to the likes of me, Mistress Mar." Sabre said surprised that she even had done so. Most master's he had delt with would never have done so. Actually one had never done so to him. Already she was becoming very interesting to him. "I came to be in this place, Mistress, when my father decided I need to be. He didn't wish for a son that wouldn't obey." he answered. Sabre wasn't ashamed, nor afriad to answer that question. It was the truth, why hide it?

Alex’s head tilted to the left side, curious. “Your father sent you here?” She asked, thinking out loud. Her hand brushed away her bangs again, slightly annoyed that it did stay. Of course it didn’t stay, they never did. Alex’s left ear turned behind her as she heard movement but doesn’t look this time, too interested in what Sabre has to say. ‘Sword charm, he must be a fighter of some sort… what did he not want to do…?’

"Yes milady. He had a very short temper. If you are interested, you may find some of my siblings floating around various shops." Sabre answered with a small laugh. In truth he doubted his siblings would be, they always hung on every word that spilled from their father's mouth. He watched he mess with her hair again, trying not to chuckle at it. When he left his hair unbound he had the same problem. Briefly he glanced up, looking at the others moving in the shop before he returned his attention to the girl before him.

‘Why is he laughing…?’ Alex thought to herself. She watched him glance around and she gives a quick glance around as well, half looking for a possible sibling of his. ‘I wonder if my father has a temper…' Alex thought. For the most part, whenever her father said he would come home for a birthday, Christmas, just a weekend even, she got over the sting of him having to cancel for something or another. Alex then moved closer to the bars, closer to Sabre, and sat down. She half extended her hand, stopping just as her hand was between two bars. “May I see your charms?” Alex asked.

One slender eyebrow rose in surprise when he saw Alex sit. She just keeps surprising me He thought. Sabre was even more surpised when she reached in. Most potential master's he had dealt with just asked what he had. "Certainly, Mistress Mar." He answered leaning over till the charms that dangled from his neck were just over her palm. Somedays he wished he could take the collar off in order to show them, but oh well.

“Thank you,” Alex said. She holds the charms in her palm, using her other hand to flip through them. ‘Leaf, broom, pen, book, sword… Those are all good charms to have right?’ she thought. It wasn’t exactly what Alex had in mind but she was happy to see the book. “Do you like to read and write?” She asked Saber as she lifted her eyes to look at him. Was she even allowed so close to the cage? Alex wasn’t sure but didn’t quiet care at the moment. It wasn’t like he was going to hurt her, right?

He watched her small hands as she took a look at his charms. From the looks of them, she stayed indoors mostly. Probably didn't do much work other than either playing an instrument, reading or what not. But who knows he could be wrong, maybe she just used a good lotion. "Yes I do, mistress. I did it quiet alot at home, but haven't had much time recently. I'm quite good at gardening, and I'm decent at indoor work." Sabre explained as she passed over them, looking her in the eyes when Alex looked up. He had always meant to gain a few other charms but he never really had the time.

Alex nodded, looking back down at the charms and flips through them again. “I have a big backyard… The garden in it is alright. I don’t have much of a green thumb…” She said, smiling sheepishly. “What about as a body guard? How are you at that?” Alex said eyes still on the charms. This was make or break for her, if she liked it or not. ‘I hope he is… He seems like a very nice person… And I don’t want to leave him here…’ Alex thought and then said, “My father doesn’t like me out alone. Technically I’m not supposed to be out now…”

"Well I could teach you if you wished to learn, Mistress." Saber answered smiling again. So that's why she was so skidish, she had snuck out. It made so much more sense to him now. "I will be honest with you, Mistress so I hope I do not take offense. I can be a good bodyguard, if you do not wish for them to die. I do not like to kill other living beings. So to some yes I can be an good bodyguard, but to most no. That is why I am once more in these cages. My former master's didn't like that I wouldn't destroy those that attacked him." He answered solemly.
