	Matanago By that logic, we're also all black, since man first came out of Africa. And I don't wanna know what kinda implications being half-colonizer, half-colony holds for me. I don't know what we're talking about. But my dad's side of the family came over on slave ships from Africa. My mom's side of the family came over on viking ships because they were Norwegian. Okay they were probably just regular ships but still. So technically, somewhere along my family history, I oppressed myself.

	Sorry, I was so lolwat over that asianophile I didn't bother quoting it. Her. I dunno if I have many fun facts about my background, except that my dad is one of the apparently few asian guys ever to get a white woman. And that he was studying to be a Catholic priest until senior year in high school. Thanks for the change of heart, Dad.

	So I just read that post Rage posted that we're all commenting on and......yeah.....no. This is one thing I hate about when people discuss race. They'll glorify stereotypes and bad concepts when its beneficial to them, and reject it when it isn't. Case and point. This whole thing the girl said about having that small bit of asian in her making her asian? In cultural anthropology, that's called the "one drop" theory. People may like it when it means they can be asian (when they clearly arent), but in other times it was used to exclude people by branding them as being impure in blood or something. It's not a good concept any way you slice it. I also dislike her hypothesis because linking the Judaic faith with a race is exactly what all those crazy KKK guys do all the time. It's obvious she's just very much into Asian culture, and there's nothing wrong with that, but that doesn't mean you need to convince yourself you're part Asian. It's funny, really. I'm Italian and Irish, and both of those ethnicities were, at one time, not considered white. And with my mother being part Sicilian, I'm sure there's some spot of Moor in me somewhere for all I know. And yet I really feel no deep cultural connection to being Irish, or Italian, or Sicilian, or even if there's a bit of Greek or Scottish in me. I don't want to say I just feel...well...white...but I also hate the stigma people nowadays place on being white sometimes, as if I need to be horribly ashamed of it. Regardless of which, there's really only one thing I'll proudly identify myself as. I'm a panda. :3

	googles huh, so that's what it's called. I knew a girl in high school who had the coolest raccoon eyes and white freckles, but never got around to/thought it appropriate to be asking about it. Say Tenkai! I've been meaning to ask - you watch the kung-fu ninja bear on the 'tubes recently? A Challenger Appears if I ever did see one.
