Obviously something didn't want me to go away from WoW to play ME2. I don't log on WoW for 2 days because I'm busy with ME2, and my account gets hacked.

My account (apparently) got hacked about 4 months after I stopped playing.

Which, when you get down to it, was just even more encouragement to never play again. Didn't want to go through the process of recovering my account.

So did they reactivate your account to hack it? These people seem to go to a lot of trouble.

Yeah, I've heard it's not that bad a process. I got a reply after about an hour saying it was going for further investigation, whatever that means. Gonna go run some av and spyware scans while I wait even though I'm 99% sure the breach isn't from my end.

I dunno. A few months after I stopped playing I got an e-mail that said there was unauthorized activity and that they had suspended it, even though it was deactivated for the aforementioned few months.

They sent me a form to fill out, but since I had already swore off the game I never got around to it.

Also, it looks like my character still exists. It's been so damn long though that it doesn't show any information on him.

Lol. Guess they did reactivate it or something then. I'm still playing so I just sent a ticket in game. Were pretty fast about it. Got everything back within about 2 hours. Most annoying thing is having to re-sort out my bags and bank though. ><
