As far as dimensions on the blade go, anything 1 inch thick and 6 inches wide goes beyond the size any real sword would have, so it gets sort of difficult to apply real measurements to it. I don't know how thick or wide they'd realistically be, but it is certainly off the deep end a little bit. It also weighs ten pounds, and normally I believe a two hand sword would ideally span the 4-6lb range in reality, even if the long handle can help offset the weight issue some if you take advantage of it.

Then again, like I said, it's dimensions are exaggerated and the sword has a WINDOW TO HELL. I am pretty much assuming that your person is abnormal enough that you don't need to worry about if it could make a decent weapon in real life, just as long as you don't go way off the deep end with it.

What counts as off the deep end next to "Window to Hell" I'm not sure.

Optimistic advice from a pessimist.

It's a bump in the road, but your art is an ever evolving process. The stuff you make now, isn't what it was a year or two ago.

Take this opportunity, learn the new program, and see how your style grows with it. You don't strike me as the kind of person to let something like this stand in the way of what you love to do.

Realistically, close to 3/16th of an inch thickness (at the thickest point) and between 1.5-2.5 inches in width is pretty standard for most european swords.

Turns out I still have a little bit before I head to work.

I've spent way more time in the customization tools than I have in the actual game. I've maxed out Fashionista (the levels you get for making clothes) and I'm about halfway through Tuner (same thing for cars). I could probably make something more advanced, but you only get 100 layers total, and everything has to be made out of primitive shapes. Well, it doesn't HAVE to be, but the other options are things like letters, numbers, and other pre-made logos. I know people have made some really amazing stuff with the editor that they put on their clothes and cars. Some people just have that sort of knack to figure out how to make it work for them with little trouble.

... other people just run around in their underwear with offensive words across their butt and call it a day.

There was also that one time where Dash and I went up against a group of leatherbound enforcers called the "Hot Cops."

Yeah I played around with it a bit during the beta. The tuner mostly. But I mostly messed around with some of the basic shapes and logos and slapped them on things. Design has never really been one of my key skills. =P
