And yes, Chaplin is a real treat. I'm sorry you have difficulty getting your hands on them though sad They should be easily available...everywhere.
If you like Chaplin's brand of silent slapstick I recommend films by Jacques Tati, he's a great comedy actor/director (the character he plays in his films, Monsieur Hulot, is one of my personal favorite film personas) While there's talking (though not much from Hulot) the comedy is mainly physical and visual.

"Controversial" stuff usually doesn't interest me. I read Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code and merely commented on the uninteresting writing style. xd

Ehh, don't get your hopes up; I was extremely disappointed. It was so widely read because of the religious controversy, which I will not spoil for you now. I don't think the story was particularly good.
