AD- You know what, that's really good advice. Maybe I should just read more books. God... I used to read books all the time, it makes me wonder when I stopped. Some other writers I talk to (father included) do tell me to take certain classes or read certain how-to's, but I'm skeptical on what they could actually teach me, just methods? Most artists I love are self-taught and thought that's how I would do it too, but I never really thought of applying that to writing. I should start hunting down some reading material.[/blabobviousblah]

ESC - I've never taken a writing course; my room is just filled with books. Excluding manga, there's at least 100 books in the immediate, visible area. I like to think they're the reason I can put words together in an order that makes sense. So yes, go back to reading and see if it helps. You certainly won't lose anything!

My appartment stinks (seriously). There doing work on the building and it smells like burnt wood and gas. I have all the windows open, which is bad because it's cold outside. So I'm freezing and I'm having a hard time breathing. I think a long walk is in order today.

Oh, s**t. It's 81 degrees outside. I think we should all take walks today.

I went out and now they're gone so the smell is fading. I wish it was warm here but it's only 6 degrees celcius(sp) out. It's a little chilly.

I take walks everyday, it keeps me in shape.

1. get trained on how to be a lifegaurd.
2. trained how to not kill kids as a camp councilor
3. work in camps kitchen
4. work on the grounds crew
5. get pestered by little kids as a councilor

On the subject of writing, I agree with AD on this one; you can learn how to write well by reading, reading, reading. (It's also good to know your grammar. I think it was Mark Twain who once said, "You must know the rules of writing so you know how to bend/break them." *not a direct quote xp *) Taking a class won't hurt though, and it may work out better for you. 3nodding

I was trying to emphasize that reading helps someone to learn to write well. Reading does not, necessarily, help someone learn to write. (it helps though 3nodding ) Plus, you don't write great, you write well; and someone is not a well writer, but a great writer. xd
