BACKGROUND: A rebellious guy, playful and doesn't see school as too important, despite his natural genius. His family consists of lawyers and want him to be one too, despite his dream of wanting to become an artist. His expression in front of a canvas is completely different than usual. He is sensitive around the topic of families and doesn't enjoy talking to people about it, making him closed off. Only people really close to him know his true persona. He is the type that tends to attract people to him, but only truly accept few.

ORIENTATION: Straight but he's super dense, so doesn't have the slightest sense of romance until someone says it to his face.

LIKES: Sweets, anything art-related

BACKGROUND: Alouette came from a rough family. Her mother was a yanki when she was young and her father is currently a drunk abusive father. Her mother died when she was 10 from a blow to the head by her father and eventually she was separated from him. She was always alone, until her mothers old yanki buddy took her under her wing. She taught her everything there was about fighting and protection and Alouette was a fast learner. She grew to dislike males, especially perverted ones. She tends to throw males around if they touch her on instinct. She hoped she can get over her childhood trauma, but it still haunts her to this day. Her step mother eventually sent her here so that she could live a better life than her mother. Alouette plans to do her best to behave, but only time will tell.
ORIENTATION: Straight, though she's very aggressive around males due to her traumatic past.
LIKES: Yanki's, cooking, martial arts, reading interesting novels, fishing, and friends that understand her.
DISLIKES: Rain, alcohol, smoking, hot weather, males, spiders, drunk individuals, bars, water (can't swim) and heights.
ADDITIONAL INFO: If you get to close, she may flip your body onto the ground. She can also get sick easily if she's under too much stress.

Background: Touya is very serious, borderlining apathetic. He opens up to select few but he is helpless around dogs--he loves them very much. An incident involving his mother being constantly abused by his alcoholic father made him close himself off to the world. The only thing nowadays he can enjoy is music--some say his fingers are like magic on the piano.

BACKGROUND: Originating from France, she is fluent in Japanese, English, and French. A serious character who loves to write short novels. Reading and writing is her passion. She is an orphan who was taken in shortly after she arrived in the orphanage by a kind novelist who taught her all she knows. Despite her impeccable appearance, she is very lazy and definitely not a morning person. She has an older brother, but his location is unknown as of the present.

LIKES: Reading, writing, hot chocolate, dogs, spicy food, her adopted family

DISLIKES: Sports, bitter food, ice cream, getting up early in the morning

ADDITIONAL INFO: Her pet peeve is when people barge into her space while she's writing. It makes her especially snappy towards others. Otherwise, she is very easy to get along with.

Background: Zephyr grew up in a big house that was always empty, do to her parents working all the time. So she grew up taking care of herself, although she is easy enough to get along with, and can become friends with just about anyone, but as soon as someone gets to close she tends to push them away, so they wont find her weakness

BACKGROUND: Ryu is Alouettes step brother. He first met Alouette when he was about 12 years old. She was enchanting to her and he waned to protect her no matter what. He grew to love her over the years, however, the love he felt was a romantic one. He knew Alouette loved him, but that was because he was her step brother. After his mother, Alouettes mothers yanki friend, taught her how to fight Ryu felt as if she no longer needed him. Sure she may have gotten into a few fights, but she had never really acted like a girl in public. Ryu was the only one to see her smile and to see her act like a true girl. He decided to follow his sister to the academy and watch over her.
ORIENTATION: Straight, though he has a sister complex
LIKES: Yanki's, his mother, Alouette, males that are with Alouette, training, movies, and eating food
DISLIKES: Alouette hating him, annoying girls, bugs, and school.
ADDITIONAL INFO: If you get to close to Alouette, he may get a bit jealous and make you get away from her.

Background: Anju is a very soft and frail girl but also an evil outgoing gal as well. She has a split personality. At one point she will be small and fragile and will cry if you so much as question her but when something triggers her, she will tie up her hair and become a loud, rude and outgoing girl. She grew up with only her grandmother who was able to know when she was triggered and how to get her back. Otherwise she will only reverse if she is triggered again.
Orientation: straight
Likes: when shes frail- butterflies, light colors, classical music, anything cute. When shes loud- rock and pop music, dark and random colors, skulls, anything crazy
Dislikes: when shes frail- anything her other personality likes. when shes loud- anything her other personality likes.
Additional info: sometimes when she becomes loud, she reverts her name to Aruika.

BACKGROUND: Shuu is, as the name says, Touya's half-brother, who had left to be on his own and live alone when he was 16. Shuu was the result of the affair that his mother had with another man from a foreign country before Touya had been born. On the surface he seems like the perfect gentleman--calm, intelligent, athletic. But he is constantly bothered and tormented by his red hair, a constant reminder of him being an illegitimate child and the fact that Touya would always hate him for that. He has a tendency to give a very scary smile when he's irritated, and that never fails to intimidate even the bravest of people. He is usually mysterious and hard to figure out. People also tend to avoid him because of his black-and-red eye, which he was born with, and also the reason as to why his mother never liked him.

ORIENTATION: Straight but dense toward romance, so never looks for relationships

LIKES: He hardly makes it known to ANYONE, but the one thing he can really enjoy is running, so he does it very often to clear his mind, giving him his unusually fast reflexes.

DISLIKES: His mother, his real father, talks about families, girls who try to approach him because of his looks

ADDITIONAL INFO: His smile is very sweet if he means it, but very threatening if you piss him off. It usually ends up with the opposing party being bruised and battered, not to mention terrified, if they try to start a fight with him.

Background: Rui is fiercely loyal to her friends and close ones, since she grew up with a relatively small circle. She doesn't hesitate to say what she wants to say and sometimes ends up pissing people off. She dreams of finding friends who will accept her honesty instead of taking too much offence to it. Energetic and hard-working, she grew up poor but ended up at Avalon with her own efforts. She is not particularly talented in any way but she perseveres through all her goals.

Ariel is what people would consider "dead weight". The only thing she is not bad at is science and math. Her parents where scientists and wanted "the perfect child" so they had created Ariel, she was created in a test tube. Growing up she was always picked on because her parents messed up and made her voice so soft. As time passed she gained the strength to make her voice louder but it was still softer then every one else.
ORIENTATION:
Straight, but has never had a boyfriend, too shy.
LIKES:
Ariel plays the piano to pass the time and she iv very talented at it. She also plays the violin when she is alone.
DISLIKES:
She hates it when people ask her questions about why her voice is so soft and jump to conclusions like "Oh I bet her throat got slit and tore her voice box"

BACKGROUND: Asuna came from a small family. Her mother was a race horse rider and her father was the one who trained the horses. They fell in love with each other and that's when she was born. The minuted she was able to walk, she was riding a horse. It was like a dream, something out of a fairytale. However, one day her mother had a horrible riding accident and was killed when she was thrown off her horse. Devastated, her father sold their farmland, horses, and house. They moved into the big city, and her dreams came crashing down. She was to never ride a horse again. Her father then enrolled her into this academy, but Asuna only really has one desire. To race with a horse of her very own choosing.

Background sad Katherine)キャサリン (Hosokawa)細川 and (Rosemary)ローズマリー (Hosokawa)細川 are from very well know family since they are descendants of the (Hosokawa)細川 they were apart of the abolition of the feudal class in 1871, the Hosokawa clan and its branches were made part of the new nobility in the Meiji era, but there Great Grandfather was also The Prime Minister of the Japan.Rose and Katherine Father likes to keep tradition
as for their mother she easily becomes sick but, still like to maintain their small kimono shop.And the reason why (James)ジェームズ (Takemura)竹村 lives with the (Hosokawa)細川 is because his parents passed away in a car accident and had no one to take care of him.Since their family were so close they thought of him as family and took him in.
Additional Info:Well for Rosemary she is shy, but James & Katherine tends to watch over her ....& Katherine is outgoing one of the bunch
