Emerald filed out behind her chosen (and well paid) team. She stopped on the sidelines as the mercs headed to the mat. Her face looked set, shoulders back, standing tall. She meant business today.
The monk and goblin fought, and it was a good fight. Getting a lucky strike in the Monk sent his opponent to the mat. Next the Ranger did the same, showing a bit more skill but with just as tough a fight. Then the Warlock against the Bugbear. No easy victory today, as the Warlock was unfortunate and bested. Em still stood straight, watching as the Druid and Hobgoblin battled. Using some nice looking moves the Druid put their opponent down. It was handily done, not as neat as yesterday, but done. A half smile spread over the Party leaders face, she nodded to her team. They had done well today. She eyed the Warlock and raised an eyebrow, silently asking and daring them to take the Bugbear down in the next round. They seemed to understand, as they gave a small nod.

Facing the Bugbear the Warlock raised his hand as though to cast, and the Bonespeaker began to cast a counter. Moving quickly the merc stepped up, grabbing his staff in both hands, and brought it down solidly on the head of the other caster- who had still been trying to get a spell off. Grinning fiercely the victor turned to Em, who whopped with joy. Their work had paid off!

Dungeon Master's Inspiration! All rolls will be normal, including any type bonuses remaining a +2 However, you may instead accept an additional +2 for all party members on your third try of the day... but only if you forgo adding any bonuses on your first two tries! This would make any typing bonuses a +4!
