EVERYONE:

I'm going to be gone until the 20th or 21st; I'm helping a friend move from Ohio to New Mexico. Via car. Ugh. I don't know if I'll have internet access during that time, so here's the deal on the Art Party.

Lang's in charge, with Akahoshi as second-in-command. The Art Party starts tomorrow and will last for a week so as to allow for art trades and so on. The current theme is based on the fantastically hilarious superhero information generator located here. The secondary theme, which ties in closely to this theme, is that of Fight Club (shamelessly stolen from Polykarbon BBS). It's something of a page-by-page manga fight sequence, with each page illustrated by the participants of the fight.

Example:
PAGE 1: (done by AD) Opening sequence, 5 frames, AD says "eye will fight j00 til the endz uv teh errth!" and other such things.
PAGE 2: (done by Lang) First attacks, more threats, 6 frames, Lang says, "j00 might trai, ho, but yoo will not winn!!!one!!1!"
PAGE 3: (done by AD again) continuation...etc.

See? Time consuming, but fun. Also good practice for anatomy and poses. It's up to you whether or not you want to undertake a Fight Club effort, though. Be sure to find someone to pair up with before starting; it's no fun alone.

Other than that, good luck to you all. I'll be flying back on Saturday, though I probably won't post until Sunday.

Once again Hoshi's brain shut it self off tonight and that made Hoshi think that tequila would be a good idea. The thing is tequila make me sick in the worst possible way. So for now don't expect me to be around tomorrow until very late because most likely my head will be in a bucket. (since right now the sick feeling is just hitting me)
