I was once a part of a B/CP shop. There was a pokemon event; one of the things that happened is the owner would randomly post "A pokemon has appeared!" or whatever. The person would then roll a 1-100 number and people had to hit that to capture. They could throw rocks (free), bait, pokeballs, great balls or master balls. Anything above a rock was limited use and you spent gold on it (gaia gold, this is b/cp). However, every step above rocks removed the random by 25 (so bait was 25-100, pokeballs 51-100, etc.).
We had a Caterpie pop out once. Everyone was chucking rocks at it for like 5 pages. Then me, who had no real interest in it and didn't even know how to roll, asked. "How do I roll a random number?" Someone explained it. I posted. Bullseye.
I was planning on working it into the backstory but the shop basically went defunct unfortunately =/ It was a really enjoyable shop with some fantastic art at reasonable prices.

Not sure why that reminds me of this, but I'll tell the story anyways. XD
There is this horror PC game called Yume Nikki and you travel around in this girls nightmare for the whole game and it's trippy s**t in itself, but the programmer thought 'let's add a lot of random scary events that have a ---% rate to appear!'
So I'm in this desert looking for the key to the last door and I hit that 1/64 chance of encountering the strongest enemy in the game...which is this balloon...octopus...thing....and I freak out as soon as it appears and hit the power button of the computer.
...with my essay still up and unsaved....and it's due tomorrow.
Was all 'DAMN YOU YUME NIKKI!' D;

I usually don't finish scary games either. Recently I watched someone play a game called Amnesia for the PC. It's not really scary but it's really intense and sometimes it gets to ya owo;

Amnesia is a million terrors and a million joys. The latter is for reasons outside of the game, but ones I cannot explain lest certain individuals read them here.

Fear (first one, second one sucked) > Amnesia > Yume Nikki > Fatal Frame
From what I've played, at least.
The house > all of those.
Anyway, pardon my absence, a lot of s**t going on irl for a while.

Unconnected The house > all of those. Anyway, pardon my absence, a lot of s**t going on irl for a while. Which one? One of the movies, one of the books or the flash game? Because the flash game wasn't really that scary. Also, it's fine! Just get back whenever you can. Take your time.

Only saw the flash game and I kept flinching away from the screen to really watch much. Too much anticipation.
