"Mmm, the boy might be easier, since we can channel all his teenage angst into something positive like battling demons and the like. The girl, pssh, once she falls in love. I'm pretty sure she will fall hard for that person, and if that fellow breaks her heart...oh geez." Temari said as she moved a hand up from her other and began to massage the bridge of her nose, sighing heavily as she did so. "I honestly can't wait..."

Before Jack could reply, Oomizu had tackled her father to the ground. "Hahhah, what'd I tell ya?"
Etna nodded. "Think of all the other fun stuff we could record on this!" she said, grinning. "I mean, even besides any other pranks we come up with. People bickering, or having fun, or fighting with monsters... It could be pretty cool."
"Hahhah, for a second I thought I did burn you!" Hotstreak replied, shaking his head. "Apparently my temperature gets way higher than most people's... or it is higher... I dunno, I forget what the doctors said. Anyways, there was one girl that tried to push me, and almost burned her hands; an' that was just even though my shirt." He left out a couple details, but her almost getting burned just by touching him was the main point. Who cared if she was trying to push him away because he had gotten too close while hitting on her when she so obviously was terrified to be in his presence?
"I don't want to see anyone get hurt..." Gear replied. "Hotstreak even being here is at least partially my fault..."

Hitomi listened intently, nodding her head slowly. "Ah, I see then." She stated simply before she smirked, poking his chest with her index finger in a playful manner. "Well, lookie there! I'm touching you and I'm not gettin' burned." She pointed out before she just placed her full palm on his chest, just to prove the point, all with a cheeky grin.
Kirara was about to say something else, but she stopped quickly, her mouth just hanging there, open. There was a few seconds of silence before it looked like something clicked in her head, her brow furrowing slightly as a result from it. "What do you mean by that Gear? I mean, sure he came from your world and all, but him being here isn't technically your fault.. The gods wanted you both, apparently, and so...here you both are!" She explained as her ears flicked back and forth for a moment.

Oomizu looked up to Link, seeing Shippo still licking his cheek. "Oh, no, of course not. After all, I had only thought you were dead. Why would that qualify as worrying too much."
Kikyo looked down to Oomizu and attempted to get Oomizu off of Link in order to allow him up, finding Oomizu wasn't about to let go. "What did you do while your uncle and I were away trying o find your father?"
"Oh, I was talking to Kain-dono."
Kikyo dropped Oomizu back onto Link and put her hands on her hips. "What did we tell you about being alone with him?"
Oomizu ooked up to Kikyo, pouting. "But I wasn't. There were others around... sorta."

Sora walked past Kirara talking to gear hearing what she said. He sat on a box and looked out to the horizen missing his friends. He was beginning to wonder what happened to Riku and that Zim guy. He hadn't seen them since the giant crab attack.

Minato nodded "Yea thats true, we should do that, i know a few people that bicker constently " he said looking over to gear in the distance

Gear sighed. He'd already let part of it slip, so there wasn't any point in hiding it. "Before coming here, Hotstreak... skipped town for a while. He was laying low and not causing problems, so even though I knew where he was, I didn't do anything," he began, not quite being able to reach Kirara's eyes. "I was more focused on the crimes that were happening, and looking for another Bang Baby that's much more dangerous than him... If I had just went and got Hotstreak locked up first... but I didn't, and because of that, an apartment complex - that's like a lot of houses stuck together, if you didn't know - caught fire..." The blond shook his head, unsure himself why he thought Hotstreak would have kept behaving... "Well, soon as I found out it caught fire in the city he was hiding in, I went straight there to get him and help the cops get him put in jail. The only reason he came here is 'cause we were fighting with each other at the time the portal showed up..."
Hotstreak laughed again, finding it a little amusing that she was so unafraid of him. "Well, I wasn't exactly calm when that girl tried to push me, either," he replied, grinning. "But, if ya want, I can turn up the heat. Find out where 'too hot' ends and 'ow hot' begins?" he joked.
Jack squatted down, so he was more eye-level with Oomizu. "And guess what; there's a chance that everyone else on board is alive, too," he told her, smiling. "Listening to what Laharl and your dad had to say about what was going on with the enemy ships, it sounds like they weren't trying to kill any of us. They were trying to capture us."
"So true..." Etna replied, looking over to Gear as well. Before seeing Sora sulk by. She pondered for a moment, then asked Minato, "Hey, think we should include that kid in any other pranks? He seems kinda down, and for now I'm up for that whole 'team spirit' thing. Whatever keeps us alive, right?"

Oomizu looked up to Jack and thought for a moment before rolling off of Link and sitting cross-legged in the grass with her arms crossed over her chest while looking up in thought. "Sesshomaru? Kagome, most likely. Makes sense. To me, any ways."
It took Kikyo a minute to figure out what Oomizu was talking about before she nodded. "That would make sense. After all, both had been a part of the original group, so it would make sense that at least one of them would prefer capturing us rather than kill us off in pursuit of the sword... Perhaps we are headed in the right direction, then."
Oomizu looked over her shoulder and saw Sora alone. Seeing as how she had ditche him and Kain, she stood up and bowwed to her family before urning and walking over to Sora and smiling. "Hey Sora, good news~! They think every one from the ship's alright~!"

Kirara listened intently. Her ears was pointed towards him, at the ready as she continued to listen to his tale. Her eyes flicked back and forth between the couple and the blond metahuman as he talked about Hotstreak, quirking a brow the entire time. "Wow, that is some story." The dark-haired demon noted as she rubbed the back of her neck, cocking her head to the right in an attempt to crack it. When a satisfying pop was heard, she all but growled under her breath. "He is definitely no good."
"Let's not and say we did, 'kay Hotstreak?" Hitomi told him as she patted his strong chest for a quick second before she sat up once more, facing in the same direction as he was, staring up at the clouds with a smile. After a moment, she looked back down to the red-headed metahuman besides her and giggled softly. "But you wouldn't burn me on purpose, now would you?" She asked in a low, playful tone, grinning all the while.
Temari smiled as she reached up and kissed his cheek once more. "Right." She told him with a nod before she noticed Alex in Inuyasha's arms. "Now come Inuyasha, we should probably return young Alexander to his parents before they worry too much about him."

"I dunno, he just looked lonely," Etna replied, with a shrug. "An' someone who's lonely here isn't really gonna be fighting at their best, right?"
"Cox?" Jack questioned, watching as Oomizu ran off to cheer up another member of the group. "Cool; that doc isn't half-bad."
"That's what I've been saying since we got here," Gear replied, kicking at the dirt a bit. "No one's really listened before now. I guess since most of these guys are so tough, they don't really see him as a threat, and therefore just dismiss him..."
"Well now, that kind of depends, doesn't it?" Hotstreak replied, with a teasing smirk. "What if ya double-crossed me? Or I double-crossed you? You already said you'd be pretty ticked if I went to roll with one of the other warlord sword guys out there, right?"

Inuyasha nodded "Yea im sure Kikyo is worried sick" he said as he looked down at alex "Ready to go to your mommy" he smiled
"yea hes a cool doc. i wonder what happened to Vyse and them though.... its got me worried... should we try to rescue them?"
Minato nodded "Well looks like Oomizu got to him first...."

"Yes. You never really know the true extent of your abilities until you meet someone whose stronger." Kirara mused as she rocked back and forth on her feet, from her heel to her toe.
"I said I'd kick your a**." Hitomi reminded him with her index finger raised, winking at him playfully. "But don't worry, I'd never double-cross you, I'm not an evil she-witch or anything."
Temari nodded and smiled. "Come on Inuyasha, they're over here." She said as she pointed in their direction.

"True..." Gear replied, with a nod. "I wonder if I'll ever run into anyone who's smarter than me...?" he wondered aloud. "Or if I've already met someone more intelligent and just haven't realized it yet..."
"Yeah, see, that's the thing..." Hotstreak began. "You're good. Y'know, you try to help people, you don't randomly break stuff just 'cause you're in a bad mood... That sort of stuff. Me? I'm bad. I steal anything I feel like, from cars and mortorcycles to cold hard cash, bust up anything I feel like, and do what I can to take down anyone who gets in my way." That really didn't get to the point, he realized... "Think about it; what if I was trying to, say, rob a bank? Would you stop me or help me?"
"Hey, wouldn't it be hilarious if she got that kid into some sort of alliance against us?" Etna suggested, laughing a little at the thought. "It could be, like, some sort of prank war... That would be fun."
"I thought that was a given?" Jack replied, with a shrug. "I mean, a decent number of us are good, right? So naturally you'd want to help people in need, especially if they were your allies. The rest of us want as strong a group as possible so we don't end up all dying, and if that means doing something 'good' like bustin' a few of our allies out of a POW camp, so be it."
"So there are going to be further delays in my getting home, I take it?" Kain asked, walking up behind Jack and the others.
"And then there's Kain, who's apparently just an a*****e."
