Oh god.....this is going to be....interesting.
To say the least.
Im stoked that they're making Wicked a movie, just as Im sure all(or most) Wicked fans are. But lets think about this for a moment, they never made it a movie ORIGINALLY for a reason. stare
Now that they are making it into a movie based on the play, I have a terrible fear that a director and producers will completely ruin it! crying
I think it'd be a way better idea for them to make the Wicked movie more based off the original novel than the play. That way it'd still be the same characters, but it'd be a split type of world, so that our musical Wicked that we know and love can still stand alone and be awesome. Just as the movie would stand apart from the play and be darkly awesome, just as the book was.
........
I dunno folks...either way, Im so attached to Wicked that I'll see it no matter what the outcome.
