Posting: Something like every weekDAY/night and not on the weekends because I visit family.
-Basic Information-
Name: Rei-Huro [Zero-Black] is his only name, which is the one his father gave him, but upon enrolling into the Academy he cheated and split his name in to so that his last and first names are Huro and Rei. Anyone who refers to him in the form of Mr. always do so as Mr. Rei seeing as how Mr.Huro sounds like a heist name made by a mob boss for one of his flunkies.
Clan: Has no clan.
Age: 20, but he died at 11 so he looks like a tall 11 year old, although, in the living world, he can pass for 17.
Gender: Male
Rank: Academy student
-Appearance-
Height: 4'-11" 1/2 [anywhere but the living world] 5'-8" [living world]
Weight: 100 lbs. [97% muscle 3% body fat]
Hair: Everywhere except for the living world, his base hair color is black and two of his bangs have been crimson-dye-tip-dipped. In the living world it reverts to his original color [VERY dark green] but his bangs remain the same.

Eyes: His eyes are a smoky and hazy grayish-blue, giving him the look of a dead person or someone who is blind....although his sight is perfectly fine.
Clothing: The only thing that isn't in this picture is his footwear, he wears ninja tabi lined with some sort of white metal for decoration and possibly for guarding when he is knocked on his back.

Living world: He wears tight-fitting black bandages tht are more clean and neat than what he has in the soul society, and they cover up to his wrists. He wears a hooded vest made to look like a mini jacket. His pants look like trainer's pants but are made from a more cloth-like material rather than man-made and are loose-fitting and tucked into his Nija Tabi that he keeps from soul society. He wears black lipstick and nail polish and one silver ring on each finger but his thumbs, the side of his lip is also pierced with a bobby pin. His eyes also have red contacts which thankfully make him look more alive than his actual eye color.
Physical Description: His face is the only thing that gives him that slightly childish charm as its the only part of him that hasn't been roughed up besides the scar between his eyes. He has muscle indeed and he is very cut for his body size, he isn't Mr.Universe material because his arms are still a bit scrawny, but his body in general is very tough, not up to par with Zaraki, Kenpachi, of course, but impressive all the same. He has a barbed wire scar around the base of his neck thanks to his father and he has the phases of the moon tattooed around his neck above his scar, he has no memory of how he got it, claiming he didn't have it before he died. the only other visible scars he has are on the sides of his wrists as though he had attempted to defend against getting cut with a wide knife, he refuses to talk about them, but claims he doesn't remember how he got the same kind of scars on the inner sides.
Background: Rei's father was heavily abusive to him his entire life because Rei's mother died giving birth. He lost his ability to cry out when he was still a baby because of his father [what he did will remain unknown]. by the time he could walk, Rei already knew full-well what the words worthless and useless meant,as well what his name meant Rei-Huro [Zero-Black] His father gave it to him because he viewed him as nothing. At the age of 4 Rei's father made his wear a collar made of barbed wire and beat him harder than he ever had because Rei's tears reminded him of his late-wife, this made him happy and mad at the same time and when Rei found this out, he stopped all together at the age of 7, hoping that it would end his father's abuse, but, to his dissmay, it only made it worse as his father felt he was losing memory of what his wife looked like. His father's life ended on his 10th birthday and it was left unknown as to wether he had been killed or committed suicide. For an entire year Rei traveled anywhere and everywhere, finally, unable to survive without some kind of care-giver, he died on his 11th birthday, killed by a Hollow.
There is a large gap in his memory after escaping the Hollow that had killed him and then attempted to devour his soul. All he remembers is a sudden darkness and an immense feeling of regret, pain, loneliness and anger as something attaches itself to his face and restricts his body, then hunger. Then next thing is the noise of something cracking and busting and large gates with skeletons jutting from the middle, up, then a red light as the gates open. The next thing he remembers is a world of gray and black, very empty, very hazy and fuzzy like a t.v. that can't get and reception, only with more substance and solidity. His conciousness constantly fades in and out as he walks and stumbles through this world, only hindered by something clinging to his body, neck, and a portion of his face....he is also carrying something, by a chain, he wants to let go and tear whatever is on him off and run, but he can't find any strength to do any more than keep going, and his hand won't unclench.
After that it gets hot and bright, sandy, like a desert. He feels like whatever was clinging to him was gone, but the heat made it feel as though it was on his back now, he notices that in his free-hand is his barbed wire collar, charred black, like it was blown off of his neck, he drops it and eventually collapses outside of the Soul Society, only to notice he had been carrying a long sword the entire time.
Personality: While in any other world besides the living one, in a nutshell, he's Emo, depressed and reclusive, he doesn't seem to want to deal with anyone unless he absolutely has to. In the living world however, he is more mean and angry, he can't seem to control this change and what causes it is unknown.
Other: women may sometimes make him jumpy, especially "well-endowed" women. There his only weakness as he would seem to do anything for them, but not with a loving interest mind you, a fearful one. This possibly stems from his father being the only human contact he has had for most of his life, to put it in a way that it won't get complicated. "The male gender has had its turn with beating him, but a woman hasn't. Stop this before it starts."
He also seems to like sweets in general, but mostly anything that has a handle he can chew on later, like a sucker, for instance.

-Zanpaktou-
Zanpaktou Name: Huro-Rei [Black-Zero]
Zanpaktou Call: "Explode and Remove Everything, Huro-Rei!"
Zanpaktou Appearance:[the handle is a bit small but I rushed it so gimme a break] Pic: http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d76/shvingerrr/ReisZanpaktou.png It has no hilt, but four sections of black chain connect the handle to the sheath. He can break the chains but they regenerate overnight. the handle and sheath are both made of black marble with tiny streaks of white in the handle. The blade is a shiny 52 inches, only 3 more than a Nodachi [a two-handed katana with a four foot blade, 49 inches]. The back of the blade looks as though the handle has crept up the back in a messy fashion, like a black paint bomb had gone off on Rei's Zanpaktou.
Zanpaktou Type: Fighting
Zanpaktou Soul: The soul of Rei's Zanpaktou never reveals itself fully for a few reasons. 1. Its an Adjuchas Menos Grande Hollow. 2. It only has half of its mask for unknown reasons so its power is only half of what it used to be, possibly a little less. 3. Its a Hollow who is closely intertwined with Rei and his past memories before soul society. All that is seen of this thing is a black silhouette, and since its a Adjuchas Menos Hollow, it has a very humanoid shape, and since it obstructs everything besides its outline including its hollow hole, nobody really thinks its a Hollow. Its presence and spiritual power is also different from a normal Hollow's since it resides within' a Zanpaktou.

~4th Post~ ~Diary~Diary ~Noted Entry #1~ Within' Rei-Huro's 'self', he often comments on how his reiatsu doesn't seem to be his because of its wild and relatively unruly nature, which is only spurred on by the voice in his head dropping a side note here and there that Rei's black reiatsu, isn't his at all. This statement is inaccurate because, in fact, it is Rei's own reiatsu. Part of the story not revealed in the biography, but hinted to in the roleplay, is that Rei's reiatsu, and what little control he has over it, is for survival. His explosive reiatsu was what kept most things at bay in his journey that landed him in Soul Society.
One could have thought of Rei's reiatsu as....well, his guardian on his trip, watching over him and guiding him, not the other way around, what made it more unruly and animalistic, is the fact that his Zanpaktou spirit, is a hollow, which Rei had evidently ran into on his journey, and subdued, how it became his Zanpaktou's spirit, and how it took sword form in the first place is unknown for now. |
