[GM Phish]

The sun is low in the sky, and it is beginning to get dark. Snow covers the ground, and each-other's breath can be seen. The fire from the building streams smoke high into the sky, their location is not a safe one. The entire area seems to reek of the same feel you picked up when the "Hag" entered the inn.

Perhaps its best if they keep moving.

(OOG: a rustling can be heard around in the leaves, but they cannot see the source.)

Kotic steps out of the building, his blood rushing. He moves his hand in front of him and calls forth an orb of curse. Best to be on his guard.

"I don't know who you are, but it's not safe here."

He says to Xemnes.

I agree with you. we can save the introductions for later.

*Xemnes calls up a ball of glowing energy so he can see.*

we should head north. i know of a town there

The two set off in no peticular direction. None of them have a compass or map, and neither can tell were they are going. It feels almost like they're being followed . . .

A voice shrieks out.

"Over here! It's not safe at night!"

There, a human man stands in a doorway to some sort of small cave. You see only the rock face, and a door.

The rustling gets louder behind them.

Xemnes shoves his companion through the door and says anythings better than out there and pulls the door to the cave closed

Pontis scrambles through the door, scraping his knee on the way in.

He lay on the floor of the room clutching his leg. A strange light appears beneath his hand and the wound is healed.

*Xemnes summons up a small ball of energy to better see inside the cave

The cave is quite large and contains random pieces of furniture. It seems to be a comfy home of sorts.

"So glad you all made it in on time."

He pulls out a wand from his boot and points it at the door.

"Ravenerious!"

The door creaks, and grows a thousand biting mouths.

"Don't touch that."

You hear howls outside the door, of some creature (s) in pain.

I see you are a skilled mage. allow me to introduce myself. I am Xemnes, banished prince of the dark elf kingdom seeking allies to help me regain my throne

Pontis gives a puzzled look to Xemnes, and continues regardless.

"Yea, and I'm Pontis."

His eyes flicker around the room. It is full of small shiny trinkets and things; this man may have just met his thief.
