Gabriel shook his head, frown still in place as he looked up at Solstice. Although the frown was not meant for him it was hard to shake off the annoyance so quickly, even with the Solstice smiling at him. “Not anymore,”He said and began to lead the way out the door.“They probably haven’t noticed I left yet,”the Neko commented, more to himself.

"They, sir?" Solsitce asked curiously. He had heard Gabriel mention a half sister. So was he entering a family home now? Or was there something else afoot here?
“Alexandra and her slave, Sabre I think his name was,”Gabriel said, opening the door and walking out onto the sidewalk, pausing to lean a little heavily on the cane. Might as well get the questions out of the way now he figured.“Our father, does live with us. Too busy with work,”He said, using the term father loosely and a big of an edge to the word as well.

Solstice followed him quietly listening. When he got out into the cloudy day he paused, turning his face up towards the sky. The air was cooler then he prefered but it was freash and wonderful. "So I will not be alone in my duties then? I never asked, am I for you? Or are you simpling picking me up?" The bird asked turning his gaze back down to the small neko.
Gabriel nodded, well to his first question asking if Solstice was his or not.“Yes, you are my slave. You will be cooking for the household. Maybe a little household cleaning but for the most part cooking,” He said, pulling the coat a bit tighter around him. The Neko hated the cold. To him it was cold anyway. And he hated the weather and hated the beach. There were a lot of things he hated and very few things he liked now.

"Good, I find it annoying to have multiple masters. Is there anything specific for you alone you wish me to do?" Solstice asked again. Seeing his new young master fussing with his coat, he frowned lightly. Where was the boy's carrage? "Sir do you not have transportation? It's not good for you to be out in this weather." He said a light worry tone in his voice. He may have just met the boy but already he had a light fondness for the small neko.
Gabriel nodded towards a waiting taxi. Even from over here he could tell that the driver was starting to get impatient."There is our ride. And I'll let you know if anything comes to mind,"He said, beginning to lean onto his good leg again and he started to get up the motivation to walk towards the car."Any other questions?" The boy asked, ignoring the bird's comment about the weather.

"Alright sir. I'll stop pestering you. Shall we?" Solstice said with a small chuckle. A stuborrn one eh? This was going to be interesting. Already he was curious as to what the others of this house were like. "Do you need any assisstance?" He questioned seeing how Gabriel treated one leg.
“I’m not helpless,”Gabriel said although he didn’t quiet snap like he did with his sister or her slave.“Do you know anything about the Japanese culture?”The Neko asked, beginning to move to the taxi. The cane’s soft tapping would barely be heard over the street noise. Gabriel opened the door right behind the driver, not waiting for anyone to open or help open it. The boy then turned and sat a little heavily into the seat, turning into the car and resting the cane against his knees.
