Hello,

As you can see my name is Rakashael and I am a new member of this guild. I have looked it over and not really seen a thread like this one. Have you ever attacked by a fangirl? Cussed out? Threatened in various ways? Punched? Slapped? Had bricks thrown at your head?
Well, I have and the people in this site have too:

If you have similar stories please post them here. It makes me feel not so alone in this massacre called fandom.

When Fangirls Attack: The Quizilla Crazies

For a few years I was an editor for Quizilla.com and on top of editing stories I would write fanfiction upon request.(The good kind, with plot, research, and character development; and NO Mary Sues in sight.) For a few weeks I was writing a Gaara Romance(Naruto) fanfiction for a few people. All was going well and everyone seemed to enjoy it until there was a place where the OC(Original Character) and Gaara hugged. After that episode I got the following message: (I am paraphrasing, this was a while ago.)

From: XXXX

What the hell is wrong with you? Don't you know Gaara couldn't possibly love that skinny b***h? He is with me so he would kill that stupid girl and you! You are dumb, Gaara loves no one but me!!! Go to Hell! You better change your story or ELSE!

~XXX
(Her spelling was much worse than that of course. I just can't bring myself to write like they normally do)

At first I laughed. This is some kind of joke. I wrote back to her telling her that I can't change the story and Gaara is a recluse and harder to deal with than she may think. The OC in the story is equipped to handle him and if she would like to picture the OC as herself then she is more than welcome to.
After that I got another reply that was much worse.
(Again paraphrasing)

From: ******** you you b***h!!! Gaara would never love that whore! He loves me anf only me! I'll pull your hair out and I'll smash your face in!!! You don't deserve to write about him. I'll hurt you and kill you! Dumb slut.
~XXX

For a while I would reply back with calmness. She couldn't be any older than 13. For weeks she would send awful messages that got more and more detailed. Eventually it just got to a point where it was just sad so I contacted the site mods and they banned her.

When Fangirls Attack: Q&A Nightmare

During the time I was in high school I was in a club called Q&A for Writers. I would often be on the panel of answerers for the meetings held in a small center. This night we were having a good time and sort of goofing off when we were talking about I think it was... Lord of the Rings. There were mostly little middle school girls in the front row. I made a wise-crack about how Legolas was only there for decoration. I noticed one of the girls stood up and yelled, "Take that back!" Before anyone could really say anything she stormed out. I thought nothing of it and continued with the meeting. Towards the end I was just about to walk off the edge of the stage when I feel someone push me from behind. All I remember was flying off the stage. Appearently when I came to, the girl from earlier was standing in between two older people who were holding her. They told me that she shoved me off the stage and I hit my head on the lowest step. I wasn't bloodied or anything so I didn't press charges or anything.

That is nice to hear. I am scared to go into the bookstore anymore.

Just last week I was in the Bookery(Local Bookstore) looking for manga. Next to the manga section was a huge Twilight section and a tall, sweet-looking blonde girl. She saw me looking at the manga and asked me, "Do you like Twilight? It is great isn't it." I sighed and replied, "Well, I can't say that I like it. It just didn't catch my interest." Her face went blank and she started to walk passed me. Suddenly she swung around shoved me against the wall. Some sharp object seemed to slowly pierce my side and I quickly shoved her off before the piercing pain climaxed. In her hand I swear I saw a pencil. Two of the older women in the store (People I luckily have known for a while) grabbed hold of the girl and kicked her out of the store for good. I grabbed my monthly manga fix and left. Later that day I lifted my shirt and saw trickles of blood. She actually pierced my skin pretty well. X_X Now whenever I see a picture of anyone or anything to do with Twilight I shiver and become really paranoid. God(s) help the world.

I don't know anymore honestly. Though I haven't seen the girl since. I think she was from out of town. I also haven't been to the Bookery since then. I think we all realized what depths of stupidity the world has gone to. At least there is hope. We must all strike back and force the media to stop making stupid things based on little or no talent. Everything nowadays is all about the money and people are forgetting what really, really is important. It sounds kinda cheesy but love, love of art, justice, people, things, nature, all that good stuff. All these blank, mindless stereotypes everyone helplessly bide into are what start it all. If we can stop that, we can change the world... wow, sorry about the rant. I'm probably preaching to teh choir huh?

I can deal with people who have stupid interests, as long as they realize that people think that their interests suck. I do, however, feel people need to be pummeled until they learn not to go batshit on other people who think their interest sucks.
