Do you like where Final Fantasy has gone?

I hear that the battle style in XIII is supposed to be different... or am I mixing it up with XIV? I can't remember, one of them is supposed to be more like real time battling or whatever.

They might be doing it with both?

XIII is supposed to be real time/ turn based-ish.

i'm REALLY looking forward to versus xiii though...

Both FFXIII games look really good... but I can't deny that they scare me a bit. I want them to be really good games so that they can put my faith back into the series. I sort of lost it when XI came out. Online, fine, but you have to pay what... like $13 a month? That threw me for a loop. I only hope that XIV comes out for the PS3 without a monthly fee.

GameInformer actually stated that XIV is coming out for the ps3 and online but there better not be a ps3 fee (if that's where your going, i TOTALLY agree with you)

When i saw Noctis, i was like oh. my. gosh! heart he's a fricken hottie!

My faith has been slightly restored! XIII's battle system is not XII's, that in and of itself makes me happy.

At the same time, however, I'm also disappointed. What I find disappointing is the idea that Final Fantasy needed an America and Europe specific theme, which, in my mind, is not very Final Fantasy. For those of you who haven't heard Square Enix has decided to use a Leona Lewis song called My Hands. I am quite disappointed (even though the song will likely be heard only once) that I can't play the game with it's intended song Kimi Ga Iru Kara, which sounds much more like a Final Fantasy song.

My first FF game was X and then it was FF VIII biggrin irge of Cerberus, then it X-2, III, IV, VII, XII, VII:CC, I, and then finally XIII was my last one...I can't exactly remember when I got Dissidia...personally my three favs have to be VII, XII, and X! X just has the most sentimental value to me because it was the first one that open my eyes to not only FF but the whole world of Square Enix/Squaresoft! I honestly like where they went with FF over the years!
