The Immortal Theif Roleplay

((Ack, I'm tired of my character being stuck. I'm moving around a bit.))

Suki looked around with anxious eyes as he scanned the room for something to eat. Soon he spotted a small picnic basket which contained a stash of rice cakes. He wondered if it may belong to another, but pushed the thought aside and reached for its straw textured handle. He lifted it gracefully, and nimble made his way down onto the seat of the small picnic table outside. The freshness of the outside air made him smile as he wiffed it with the tip of his nose. The basket was already half open, alluring Suki into its containtments. His mind thought of where the others may be now. Tao had vanished without notice, and his tummy prevented him from searching furthermore. Munching on the rice cake gave him relief from his hunger. Small bits of rice stuck to his face as he soon devoured the last bite of his tasty little snack. He got up and reached back for his blanky which he usually carried with him. Usually, he addressed it as his "Sash", to seem more adult like; but in his mind, it would always just be his blanky. The abscence of it reminded him of Aoki, whom he had given it to. From what her knew about her current location, she was on a mission with another member of the group, though her name escaped his thought. Suki began to feel a strong desire for his sash once again, like a child wanting his stuffed animal. He had grown attatched to it over the years, and seemed to have never dying subconscience need for it. It was part of him, so naturally, it derived his feelings to going to go find it. He got up and licked his fingers clean and wiped his humble mouth before bumbling off into the fields he had been in earlier.

Melora, surprised at the sudden attack from Izumo, tried her best to pull away, but to evade someone with such speed, and to keep eyes contact with Shinobu, who was quickly dissappearing into the forest, was a difficult task.
She hastily pulled to the left, saving her little rabbit toy from being caught, although just barely, and used some of the last strength left in her legs to push herself up into the branches of the tree abover her, and then took off, presently taking her gaze off of Shinobu.
After a moment of this, she was breathless, but, using her small form, able to slip away into a heavy oak trees shade, where she slowly stalked aroun,d trying to figure out the best way to get to where Shinobu had been taken, while keeping her cover from the other two.

Stumbling slightly, but keeping his balance, Izumo was surprised that Melora had managed to evade his grasp. Slightly, just slightly. Which meant that she must've taken her concentration off of Shinobu; there was no way she could've reacted that quickly with something else occupying her attention. The girl then quickly proceded to traverse through the brush, concealing herself as best she could. The choice now was to either follow the girl, or seek out Shinobu. Of course, it was obvious what he would do: Shinobu was injured, and being taken care of by Aoki and another woman, who had somehow known about Melora's coming. Another one of the Thieves, he'd expected.

Shinobu would be fine, he concluded, his attention should be focused entirely on the girl. He had to do something about her, stop her. Destroying her doll, he hoped, would end this madness. At the very least, it would prevent her from using her brand of magic until a new one took its place. He quickly jumped into the brush where Melora had ran. Only a vague form could be seen ahead of him; he'd taken too long making his decision, he supposed. It would be a great effort to follow this form, but he could take some solice in the fact that there was a great deal of noise created by her moving about, and at the very least, he'd follow that. It was coming to an end, he hoped.

With comfort now, knowing Shinobu would be safe for the time being, Izumo took off through the brush, chasing after the small girl. It wouldn't be long, he hoped, when he would reach her, and stop her. He had outpaced her before, he would do it again. At least this time he knew how her magic worked, he'd be able to at least dampen its effect a little when she, undoubtably, would use it on him a second time.

He was beginning to catch up to her, and his excitement only kept growing as he drew closer.

"Melora," he yelled ahead, "Just give up. There's no use trying to escape, when you'll only return again. I'll follow you until the end of time if I have to; you won't be getting away. All I want is for you to end this madness, without ending anyone's life, or at least what life they have to lose. And perhaps... you need to look at yourself. Maybe it is my fault you ended up like this, but I think it's yours. You taunted me into a fight, which I disgracefully entered, but you hadn't counted on the good nature of another person, who saved you, but somehow passed her, our, curse on to you. This isn't her fault, Melora, it's our fault."

[I had to run around like a chicken without it's head on all day trying to figure out what was wrong with my guild. It turns out, luck of all lucks, that my guild was created on the one day that gaia had a mass-guild glitch where the forums wouldn't operate properly. So I had to go through all the trouble of getting the mod to help me to deal with the old one, to fix up this new one and finally get things rolling. Long story sohrt, I worked my butt off.

And to reap the rewards, the new guild is now functioning, I even moved the Immortal Thief Roleplay into it already. She's all fresh and ready to go when you guys are. So, please hurry along to my guild, just send me a request to join, if you're already from here you don't need a literacy sample, although if you do include one I'd love to read it! And just go on in once I accept you. I'm going to check for requests everyday the second I get on.

Note, to find the new roleplay it is in 'my guilds' section of my gaian profile page. It is called 'Fantasy Roleplay Guild; All That And A Box Of Pocky!" Note the exclamation point. The one without any phoentic ending to the pocky bit is the old one, don't even try with that one, it's shut down and soon won't even exist anymore. So remember to join the guild without any banner yet, not the one with the weirdo glitchy banner.
