Okay, so a few days ago my rat peed a little and there was, what looked like, a bit of blood. It was late at night and the next day was a Sunday so I could not call the Vet right away. The next two days I kept track of her pee and there has been no blood since. What do you all make of this? If it is something, what can I do to keep it down till I can get an opening with the vet?

I would definatly make an apointment with a vet. Blood in urine may be a sign of kidney ailments. However, how old is your rat and what gender is it? Where did you get it? Was it a "feeder"? (I hate that term for albinos) I had a rat that seemed to be peeing blood, and she was actually spotting from a miscarriage she had from being pregnant at an early age while she was with the other "feeder" rats.

well I got her as a gift from a friend. She was from a pet store. She is quite the sweet-T. She eats Reggie Rats and various other treats. She is about 6 months old maybe 7 months. I will try to get her to the vet. I called and the vet that cares for small animals was out for the week on vacation. I will be able to talk with him next week. 4laugh
