bio.Ezio Auditore da Firenze (1459 – 1524) was a Florentine nobleman during the Renaissance and, unbeknownst to most historians and philosophers, the Mentor of the Italian branch of the Assassin Order, a title he held from 1503 to 1512. He was also an ancestor to Desmond Miles and Clay Kaczmarek.
A member of the House of Auditore, Ezio remained unaware of his Assassin heritage until the age of 17, when he witnessed the hanging of his father and two brothers, Federico and Petruccio. Forced to flee his birthplace with his remaining family members - his mother and sister - Ezio took refuge in the Tuscan town of Monteriggioni, at the Villa Auditore.
After learning of his heritage from his uncle, Mario Auditore, Ezio began his Assassin training and set about on his quest for vengeance against the Templar Order, and their Grand Master, Rodrigo Borgia, who had ordered the execution of his kin.
During his travels, Ezio managed to not only unite the pages of the Codex, written by Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, Mentor of the Levantine Assassins, but also to save the cities of Florence, Venice, and Rome from Templar rule.
He ensured the future travels of Christoffa Corombo to the "New World", liberated Rome from Borgia rule, and prevented the rise to power of Ercole Massimo's Cult of Hermes, helping spread the Renaissance and Assassin ideals of independence and free thought throughout Italy.
In the years that followed, Ezio began a quest to rediscover the lost history of the Order. Traveling to the aged fortress of Masyaf in order to learn more of the Assassins before him, he discovered it overrun with Templars and made his way to the city of Constantinople to uncover the location of the Masyaf keys which, as he discovered, would unlock the fortress's fabled hidden library when brought together.

Name: Maksim Aleksandr Nickname/Code Name(s): Karga (Raven); by his family and friends. Subject 19; by the Abstergo corporation.
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Biography: Maksim was born in a small village outside of Moscow. Almost immediately after his birth his family immigrated to the U.S. to live with his father’s brother. After his family had settled and made a decent living they moved out from the cousin’s home to find a residence of their own. What they found wasn’t large by any means, but it was enough for the time. Eventually after Maksim’s father had made a good living, and established his Deli they moved to a proper house in Manhattan. By this time, Maksim was aged 5. Maksim had no idea what his father had previously done for a job before coming to America, and he had no reason to question.

Maksim had always been a curious child, taking things apart to figure out how they work - unfortunately rarely able to put them back together. It was the mechanical part that interested him, and he took to sketching out more-or-less schematic diagrams, but never actually building things. He enjoyed the mental aspect of creating something. Even though he was smart, he wasn’t the “sit down and study” kind of smart. He was an average student at best - B’s to C’s - he didn’t actively apply himself in the classroom - he was told such by the school’s counselor many a time. Most times he’d either be asleep or sketching in his notebook. If he were to apply himself like a good student, he’d easily have straight A’s - his standardized tests proved this.

Things came to him naturally, be it school or sports. He had athletic prowess but rarely utilized it because he failed to grasp the point of organized sports. This however, lead him to the martial arts. It started with his father teaching him boxing so as he could protect himself, from there he dabbled in several varying styles but never finding one he could stick with, until coming across Krav Maga. It was a ferocious style that suited the urban environment in which he lived. It made no mistake that it was indeed a martial art, and never refrained from attacking vital areas - as, while in a life and death situation where you must win, why wouldn't you take the easiest route and almost certain victory that comes with striking vital points. He also enjoyed the mechanics of the art, wherein it utilized the entirety of the body as a machine to perform the needed actions. He first learned of it after coming across a practicing studio in the Middle Eastern part of his home city, and took immediate interest. It wasn't that he liked to fight, but what he liked was the disciplined atmosphere and having the confidence that if needed he could protect himself.

When not training, or in school he could often be found either at the library, museums, or even on rooftops sketching, writing, or just watching the people pass by. This is where he earned the nickname Karga - just quiet and stoic, watching from above. Where most of his friends found it tiresome to walk anywhere in the city and preferred the “comfort and convenience” of a cab, Maksim rather enjoyed the walk. However, his walk wasn’t quite normal. From an early age the cityscape provided a playground, and parkour came naturally as a way to move through the city whilst avoiding the overcrowded streets. If one were to look up a the right time, they might catch a glimpse of his form jumping gaps in the rooftops. More often than not he could make it to a location before his friends who took the cab would.

During his senior year of High School he had aced both the SAT and ACT with almost perfect scores, guaranteeing him entry to just about any prospective school. However, to sure-up his chances he decided to seek out an internship and some sort of employment to build up at least a small cash flow. He was at a loss as to where to apply for this, until one day as he was leaving the school. An advert caught his eye on the cork-board by the door. ”Are you interested in the fast pace world of Research and Development? Are you of Middle Eastern or Eastern European descent? Then we’d like to hear from you!” The flier was terse and to the point, but was artistically done. The asking about the familial descent seemed odd to Maksim, but he didn’t over think it. It only listed a number with an inquiries call here titling.

Maksim called and after a series of interviews via phone or in person had been accepted into the program. He’d work over the summer in their internship program - a paid one - and be afforded an on site apartment to increase work flow. The facilities offered a gym, gourmet cafeteria, and many programs of study. What else could one want from an internship. He had kept everything a secret from his family until he was accepted then he told them about the internship and whom it was with. He sensed his father tense up a bit but was relieved when he smiled and congratulated him. The company he was going to do work for seemed all too eager to get him to start. The day of graduation as he exited his school for the last time, he was met by a magnificent car, and a gentleman in a suit. He was taken to a large white, nondescript building and introduced to his co-workers, the facility, and his “apartment”. His things had been moved there previously and he ended his day sitting on the provided bed, staring a blank wall. This all seemed to be a bit much for just an internship, and Maksim was beginning to wonder what sort of work he was in store for.

[first few posts will be backstory continuing from where this ends]
Personality: Most often quiet, can be a smart-a**, intelligent, artistic, rather cold at times.
Side: Neutral until a bit after his introduction, then Assassin.

((If we're doing a time-travel one I'd probably use this character. It's from that other RP I showed you, and as it was ready-made it'd be a waste not to use it. Btw whereall will this RP take place? I may have to edit some pieces based on the answer.))

Lol, thanks. I'm very much a nerd for the series.

Have every game on the 360 (even AC3 on Preorder). Will eventually buy the one I missed on PSP (the one where Altair goes to Cyprus), and if and when I manage to buy a Vita (when the price drops from being the same as a brand new PS3) I'll get the new one on there (First female protagonist in the series!)

Also have all the novelizations, comics, etc. xD I'm a history major, so a game that mixes fiction with REAL history is amazing.
