As you most likely know by now, all of the ranks are based on chess, resembling strength, Kings being the strongest students while pawns are the weakest. This is part of the game and your ranking as you know will impact your importance to the community and the wish you will receive should your team rise victorious. But, for simplicity's sake, here are the ranks, how common they are and how many are allowed to a team.

Kings: The strongest students and obviously the leaders of each team. Kings are well known, while they may not be 'popular' their names are definitely known through the school and everyone knows who they are. They may act to their position of lleadership differently than others but all Kings that are chosen do show some form of natural ability to lead.

Queens: The Second strongest rank fairly inferior to kings. They aren't all female and aren't known for dating Kings, it's simple the rank given to those that are strong within the school. While some boys are forced to carry a feminime title, we encourage that they represent the rank with pride.

Rooks: The third strongest rank and fairly popular throughout the school. Some Rooks carry the influence of Kings and this is truly not an understatement.

Bishops: The Middle Man of Checkmate for they are the fine line between exceptional demons and weak ones. While they aren't very remarkable they are still looked for by Kings. There isn't much to state about this rank but there certainly are different kinds of Bishops, some which are popular and some which aren't.

Knights: Knight are the second most common group, fairly stronger than pawns. They like Bishops can be game changers in the game for what is lacked in quality can be made up with quanity. Their stance within the social hierachy is probably the same as pawns, they aren't fawned over but that doesn't mean there aren't those that're special within the school.

Pawns: The most common group and honestly the lowest of the low. Pawns are incredibly weak, truly inferior to all of the other ranks. However, that doesn't mean that all pawns are truly pawns. Because of the number of students many pawns are in fact strong enough to be Knights or even Bishops. They normally aren't popular unless their personality and or appearance makes up for what they lack in strength and most likely they'll be the most overlooked within the game.

In the Game there will be 1 King and Queen allowed on each team while up to 2 Rooks. a combination of four Knights and Bishops are allowed and Pawns will go unlimited.
