⋮ ۩ ) • • • Evie didn't know what to expect after marriage. She assumed there were many expectations however she worried. It was one thing to be promised to each other, now it was a reality that they would be bonded by marriage. However it was up to them to form a happy marriage. Evie knew they likely didn't have a choice about not moving in together. She wasn't too sure though about sharing a room. Sharing space was easy, lying next to a man she barely knew was different.
Keeping on the topic of sports, she couldn't help but follow up with another question. Evie wasn't surprised if Ben had been forced into sports, it seemed inevitable. She listened as Ben spoke about them all having been in sports as expected. Evie couldn't help but smile as Ben mentioned he'd played lacrosse until he realized he was bad at it. She could understand that one.
Having the question turn back onto her, Evie nodded. ”Sports, yes. Among other things.” She commented as she smiled at Ben. ”My mom signed me up for ballet when I was younger..I did that for a few years though I was hardly coordinated especially during shows…I usually ended up stepping on someone's foot or running into them…When I hit middle school, she signed me up for volleyball, thinking that was a good idea until I proved I could hardly do that by punting the ball into the other girls heads when I served…Then in high school, she thought maybe cheerleading would be a good idea…It was not.” Evie responded by shaking her head at the end. She hated sports and was even worse at dancing in a synchronized way.
