Raped On The Cross

hearing from the Operatoring System Gurus well in some magazines, The WINDOWS VISTA

What are your thoughts, and tell me if you are gonna upgrade.

I believe the new OS is gonna bring alot of computers down due to its behavior on the net. It requires you to update by signing onto windows and may require you to remember your Product Key.
Also the Software can not be used on two different computers as the same as Windows XP

So if I have issues with XP why would I want to use Vista rolleyes

Yeah, I'm too lazy to update. I find XP works fine for my needs. So I'll stick with it

Ya I don't think it will go over too well seeing as alot of people don't even know what and OS is... Or anything else about a computer.... >>... I talked to people who don't even know what an IP adress is.

I work for my schools technology dept., so bear with me.

Vista looks really purty. The specs on it, aren't.

The computers that everyone HERE is surfing with, will not support Vista at all.

Vista also has many small bugs on it.

I've actually seen vista in action, as my Boss took several computers and laptops to a conference, and it's very glitchy in it's Beta.

The features are also very costly in Memory point of view, it looks like it runs on a Macro, due to the way it can flip the window Horizontally and it yeah its realllllly glitchy, I have a 512 Meg computer and it's not doing me any justice. also noticed that the issue is due to Video card and sound card issues. So there is a powerful chance that all you people with more than a Gig of RAM will be a proud owner of a Operating system that runs like a 56k modem when it loads a page. Let us all know that the OS may sounds great but it will also invades your privacy expect more pop ups and spyware when you get online. It will record your behavior in and out of the US due to the Patriot ACT. As much as I hate to say this but we are all suspects of this victimizing aspect of what are computers are telling the government about our private lives online. Even though we have nothing to hide but the Vista is very prone to being hacked by the government and they will see what you will purchase. If you are planning to go to the Middle east for a Vacation they will see it as a mark of being a terrorist and frankly I don't like being accused of this non-sense. crying
