"I can do that!" Musei smiled, petting the small creature, from the crown of his head all the way down it's supple fur to the base of the tail, then starting the motion over again. "I was thinking of a name earlier and..." He paused.
"It's hard. You know, I want to name him something big and strong, but he doesn't look the part, you know? He's just...so cute!" He scratched behind the thing's ears, watching it's eyes close.
"And don't worry! He won't be a problem I swear! It'll almost be as if he's not here!" He bent down and kissed it's forehead, continuing to scratch at it's back and sides slowly.
"Thank you, Niima." He said, moving over to hug the woman. "I don't know how to thank you."

Taizen could almost hear the conversation now; "You don't just go around waterbending randomly! What if Musei was hurt?!" Or atleast something along those lines. Of course, she was right, but Niima was like his enchanted rose, for her to wilt meant he would wilt as well. Niima was transfixed with the cub, memories and feelings perhaps bubbling up to the surface. Taizen couldn't say he'd quite "Bonded" With Guardian, so he could not quite understand the emotions Niima felt at that precise moment. Taizen learned that with Niima, her feelings were oft more precise, or sharp, more used. More comfortable. So, Taizen had trouble acknowledging the emotions inside of niima, he knew all too well the shallowness of facial expressions, Niima betrayed no sadness, or joy, not even surprise, she simply watched the cub. Accepted it as though it were an old heirloom that was destined to belong to Musei anyway. Indeed she seemed to be more ecstatic about Musei caring for the cub than the cub itself.
Of course, Taizen could onyl assume, he could not read minds, and could not feel what niima felt.
He sighed as Niima smiled faintly at him, her silent apology. he nodded as Musei's eyes shone, full of the youth that rarely characterized him. Taizen; despite himself even! Had to smile. Musei was so innocent, and, now, he too had a life to protect, and Taizen hoped that it would be as revolutionary for Musei as it was for him.

Taizen smiled as warmly as he could manage for the two as Niima aggravated Musei's hair. However, the mussing of hair came to a close quickly, Musei gave his thanks, and Niima looked up to him with eyes troubled. "Express his bending?" Well, yes he did that almost everyday, no, everyday. He had to bend everyday, how could he not be expressing it? Of course, staring into Niima's eyes, Taizen had to infer that Niima was concerned for his bending. Rather, she was concerned he was too ready to jump up and strike at anything. The idea of Fighting against Niima... Well, the thing about Niima, was that she usually fights with no intention of fighting for her life, but somehow, things always change for her. Taizen groaned, "Niima, you know how... "Expressions" Of bending always end up hurting you..."
