If you could cast the Patronus Charm what would your Patronus be, and why?
Mine would be a huge snake. Because they are slick and cruel. Able to catch there pray and slowly torture it until they are ready to strike the final blow! AVADA KEDAVRA! And its all over for the weaklings who get in my way.

I think mine might be a Lion which symbolizes my Scottish blood. If you don't know . . . on a type of Scottish flag is a lion supposely wearing a crown but im not sure.

Mine'd be a giant ant-eater. Why? Because noone thinks of an ant-eater as strong, or brave, or even just plain thought of. I'm pretty much all three. It fits me in a silly kind of way. :o)

Mine would be a Serval (a Desert Wildcat) it would be small but very very fast!

Mine would be a German Sheperd. I had one when I was little, and he was my best friend, my guardian, and my protector. We would play together all the time and he'd protect me from the big, bad dogs. He made me happy until I died. I can see him in my dreams sometimes.
I'm also like a dog in some aspects. I'm hyper, social (when I want to be), brave, strong, and I never shut up (as to barking dogs).

Mine would be a wolf. Or maybe a Chow/Lab mix like my old dog Hunter.

If I personally had to pick a patronus it would be... maybe, now that I've actually thought of it is a frog. A big GIGANTIC frog. :] That hops around and makes ribbity noises... and gives off warmth and maybe some slimy traces of where it's been, but it's all good.
Reasoning behind it would most likely be because I love frogs. I have an odd obsession with them and plus, it would protect me from the snow. -shifty eyes- I think. Okay, to get serious. Frogs are so special, they describe what you love, who you loved or what you might end up loving in the future, in my opinion.
They're definitely hyper, as in they just hop around all day. And they eat. A lot. Like me. So, we go hand in hand together. Even though dogs do too, they just aren't the same. >D

WELL since patronuses are based on what you love and what your happy thought would be and your personality and crap... and not on what you would want...
mine would have to be...
A GIANT ******** ROBOT.
no joke. but Id totally want a huge baseball bat... or a frying pan or something.
although jo said it had to be an animal =(

I'm not really sure what mine would be... I'm sure a part of the magic of the Patronus form would be partly how you summoned it, how you learned it...
I'm thinking mine might be a large black dog of indeterminate breed... I might ordinarily choose a less predatory animal, but when I think to summon protection, a dog tends to come to mind- they protect you as agressively as a wild predator would, but at the same time, they're domesticated... they understand that some things aren't real threats... a dog seems to understand when it's time to bark, and when to bite...

The patronus really goes back to that inner spirit animal everyone was so in love with in the 90s.
I always thought my was a red tailed hawk, but I'm starting to think it might be a domestic cat.
