I'm a late starter via college ...
I'll be going back towards the end of September. SOooOoooooOOoo... But it seems summer has been forever, and short. At once. But that might be because of circumstances revolving school and all that.
Anyhoooo... how many are gradumacateds, how many of you be going back, etc. etc.? This is my second year.. . .. . .. .and the year I get my associates. I think I am for sure going to get my Bachelor's at least...
IDEAS FLOAT IN MY HEAD I MAY GET 2x ASSOCIATES, BACHELORS (MAYBE 2x?) A MASTERS A PHD. But that's unlikely. Very unlikely. But I'm addicted to computers more and more. I'm having experiences working on them, fixing them, getting things going.
I guess I can understand why some people enjoy working on cars now. (I never could believe someone would LOVE to fix cars... when I was younger.)
Butyeah.
School? >>>> Lifeplans? >>> Are you a greatx7 grandparent in 320 years, due to the ability to become almost 100% cyborg?

I'll be going into my last year of high school next year, which I will do all the way through to keep my chance at becoming Valedictorian (early grads can't). I've taken two community college classes, and will take two more during the school year. I plan on going straight to a University, but I haven't decided which one yet. I want to go into science -- either biology education or forensics, which has become very interesting to me after hours and hours of Court TV.
That's what I'm telling people, but in reality, I have no clue. I think my advisory teacher would eat me alive if I didn't try for the best, though.
As for other lifeplans... I want a balcony on my house/apartment/whatever. That's pretty much it. D:

I'll be starting my senior year at TCNJ in two weeks.
After that, grad school probably at SVA so I can get my MFA and actually be employable.

I start school on the 27th this month. It's the first time I'm starting in an August, since I'm so used to starting in September. XD
Not that I'm complaining since I've been out of school ever since the second week of May. And each of my classes this semester are only 50 minutes a piece since I'm taking them 3 times a week.

It's my last year of university and I STILL can't drink legally. What's this crazy-drunk-college-kid business about anyway? >;P
School begins so late in September that "October" describes it best.
I've been a senior for awhile now, but I want to draw out graduation until Spring. I'll get my BA in music composition, and perhaps a attend short graduate program, or something with more practical experience than writing papers. I tell everyone I'm going to move to LA, but like Sor, I honestly don't have a clue how things will actually unfold.
Hard to believe that a kid like me is supposed to head out into the "real world" soon... It's high school all over again - they said you were going to the "real world" then, and I felt big when I was actually small.
I'm also stunned that even after having a "university education" - I still feel stupid. xD
So, life goals: - Get a job - Get a hybrid [haha] - Coordinate my life with my man's - Have a cute baby when I'm 27. And it WILL be cute. [Just watch, it'll have all my worst features.] - Just enjoy life and be happy. And crush all opposition, of course.

Well, I started with Computer Science, and then I realized that I'd like to not start shotgunning computers and massing an army to storm Microsoft.
Speaking of which, "Standards," Microsoft, would it not hurt to use them once in a while?
I go back two weeks from now. Creative Writing for the win. Anybody know a good cardboard box store?

RawrarAWRawrarwawrawrarWAwrwrrwrRr. It's so hard to find a job that I actually think would be uber fun. *Of course, a job isn't suppose to be uber fun... but... what the hell.;9*

I have absolutely no drive when it comes to school, so I'll be starting my third year at a JC in a couple of weeks.
...I also have no clue what I'm doing with my life, since I keep giving up on every idea I have. But I'm toying with the idea of photography, I guess. *shrug*

I'm going into senior year of HS, like Sor. I'm taking all the basic classes (no more AP's for me!) with hopes of being able to focus on my artwork/design stuff. I never gave a crap about anything else anyhow.
I've got to do a lot of prep for college before school starts though (portfolio building).
Most likely I'll be going to FIT for fashion design, then hopefully transfer to a better school so I can get my BFA in fine arts. So I'm heading towards at least 6 years of schooling just for an AA and BFA. But things could change.
I'm not really worried about my future financially. I'm going to be keeping our apartment in Manhattan... I'm confident that I'll always be able to find a way to get by. Huzzah for being relatively well rounded and having a number of contacts!
Then I can start my small but respectable fashion line/store. Travel a bit. Have a monogamous relationship with my boyfriend... Marriage will have to wait until I'm not against it/afraid of it. Kids (read- one kid) will have to either happen while I'm young or I'm adopting. But if I had one with someone non-Asian... gosh it'd be gorgeous. And we can have an artsy fartsy family with him, the welder/artist and me the designer/artist/hairdresser.

I go to a 2-year college but I missed up some courses and dinked around, so I have to go back for 2 more quarters to graduate; this will be my 3rd year. I'm heading back in early September and expect to graduate in early to mid March. This Fall Quarter is going to be hard, because I will be taking a Biology lab course (I don't do math and science), and I'll be in Japanese 201. I'll also be in Media Writing for the school's newspaper, but I'm hoping that won't be that hard at all, and then I'm planning on trying out for the play, Lysistrata (I'm an avid actress and it's my major there). On top of that, I'm trying to find a part-time, night-time job so that I won't have conflicts with my school schedule. ~Sighs~ Work load, much?
Winter Quarter will be a lot easier. My hardest class will be a Japanese History class, and then I'll be taking a Health & Safety Art course. Probably Japanese 202, if I pass 201 (which I think I can, if I try hard enough). And no shows, so it'll be a lot like my senior year of highschool, where I spent most of my time just lazying around because all the hard crap was taken care of my freshman and sophomore years.
Once I graduate, I would technically be able to move on to finish 2 more years at a 4-year college, but I am NOT going that route. It took a lot of trouble and confusion to figure that even though I had stellar grades and flew right through highschool like it was nothing, college is NOT my thing. I'm sticking with it because I've already come so far, there is very little point in just dropping out now, plus getting any kind of college degree (even if it's an Associates and not a Bachelors or Masters) looks better on resumes than just having a highschool diploma. The master plan is to save up money to move to CA with my fiance and our theater junkie friends, to either San Francisco or L.A., and commence our starving artist-type lives. mad d For instance, I'll be working part-time while trying to get my foot in the door as an actress/writer/model, my fiance is trying to get work as a stuntman, our friend Pinky is a master at set construction, and Ian is looking for a work as a lighting technician. It'll be a hard road, but I'm hoping it'll be worth it. 3nodding

Going back to The College of New Jersey in 3 weeks for my last year of undergrad (and that's a scary thought). But, likely I get to put off reality for another year after that to get my master's.
At TCNJ, my major is an automatic 5-year master's program...which is pretty sweet when you think about it.
After that? Teaching somewhere maybe..for a few years. But I think I'd like to become a reading specialist or maybe some sort of educational/special needs coordinator at a museum or something like that (I'm going to have a bachelor's in history and a master's in Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, so that feels like it would suit). Maybe settle down a few years after college and have a small family and lots and lots of dogs. But that depends partially on KMKM, who didn't seem to include that in his life goals blaugh
