I've noticed that most of our new members never post, but then I realized our introduction thread is no longer.
It can be intimidating to find a place to start, I suppose.
I just wanted to welcome you all to the guild and I sincerely encourage all of you to post!
Even if you're not "new" anymore, but just haven't posted much, it'd be lovely to read all your words, perhaps even see some faces.
Great guilds thrive on activity, so please help us make the UFG an even more enjoyable escape from the forums, yes?
I hope to see more new names soon!

I've been a member of Gaia since June 29, 2003.
I've made it this far and I'm still going, despite Gaia's attempts at getting rid of our kind. ;D
I'm definitely a lurker as of late, but when I do post it's usually here or in Avatar Talk.
(Yes, I'm one of those.)
I have lived in NYC for my whole life, and I love it tremendously.
I lived in Hong Kong while I was a wee babe, and I still love it there too.
'Tis me second homeland.
As you probably guessed, I'm a city girl.

Hola, como esta? I think I said that right. As my reintroduction, to new, to the old, my name is, variably, Frank (Ism and Ist may be added at will). My primary skills lean around computers, heading into networking specifically. I am 19 (As of Sept 18th, '07), and will be 20 come October 12th. Which, I still can't believe my birthday is coming up that fast. xP
I am going into my second year of college. Whoo.
And of course, I'm a gamer, "hardcore", if you will. It is what I do everyday, with the exception of days I see my sweetums for my entire day. =O <3 My specialties lie within RPG, FPS, RTS genres.
I'm 5'8.5" @ 185lbs, currently black hair, with my skin tone being naturally tan (Thanks to being half-ish Mexican, and small part Native American)...

Guten Tag, Mein Name ist Jahoclave. Ich bin Zwansig Jahre Alt. (May 20th). I am a future, President, Poet Laurette, Nobel Prize Winner, and all around awesome person. I write poetry, prose, and satirish s**t. I am currently single and am currently threatening the world with nuclear holocaust if I don't have a good week.
I play the video games, such as BF2142 and the WoW.
I'm 5'6" blued eyed, sexy, sexy, sexy dutch blonde guy currently a citizen of that one country that calls itself America. I'm a sophomore in the universities and currently a Creative Writing Major, hence the sexy, sexy, sexyiness. I also do improv and am working on sitdown comedy.
I hate long walks on the beach, it's ******** annoying... Nobody ******** likes long walks, they're a pain in the a**. I much prefer to install offroading tires on the segways.
I'm also a professional bitcher.
Most importantly, I am more awesome than anybody else who posts here.

You'd think that hanging out in "Welcome to Gaia" would teach me something about introducing myself, huh? I think I ignore it because I don't have to. Or so I thought.
Um. My name is Shawna, and I'm quite possibly the whitest girl living in San Diego. The sun is my enemy, and I choose to blame it for my lack of social skills or, fittingly, friends. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I'm seventeen years old as of July and am a senior in high school and hating it -- Aside from two classes, I have all of my requirements for graduation done, so they're sticking me in random classes to fill up my schedule. (I haet computer graphics design)
I like to draw but I hate practicing, so I'm bad at it. I have a shop that I don't feel like reopening because my soundcard isn't working right and I can't focus long enough to draw without music.
When I talk about myself, I tend to ramble and use run-on sentences.
I am a very boring person. I look terrible next to the awesome people who have already posted, but I need to stop lurking. Well, don't need. Or want it, either. I don't know.

My name is Suresh. I'll have been 4 years on Gaia as of Thursday. Came here because I saw the ad in Udon's Street Fighter #1. I'm a 2D fighting game fanatic, and will always love Street Fighter. mrgreen Used to play competitively in tourneys, but I haven't gamed in years. I'm in Fighting Game Hell. Thank God I'm moving downstate to the NYC area soon so I can indulge my addiction again. Used to play City of Villains, but I let my subscription lapse. Once I have time to play regularly I'll have to renew it.
Anyway, my main interest and obsession is music. I listen to everything from classical to noise, punk to pop, rap to country. I sometimes tend to push music onto friends and make mixes for them. Even for people that I don't even really know just to try to get them to listen to something new. When I'm about to go to sleep I'll even go and set up 6-8 hours of music to play. I recently signed up for last.fm and was surprised to see just how much I listen to once I looked at the statistics. Ack!
I have plenty of interests and some hobbies... I just never seem to have time for them. Rare moments when I can just relax, or have time for myself are surprising enough I usually end up collapsing and resting instead of indulging in fun.

I'm Aivi. Like poison ivy, in the English-friendly pronunciation.
I find that people named Aivi get angry or skeptical when they meet another Aivi. I was emailed once by a raving Aivi who claimed I stole her name. Muggle PLEASE. xD
I'm 20, and a university senior majoring in music. I teach piano on the weekends, and I just got a sweet part-time job at Stanford University as a music composer. On Gaia, I'm a compulsive post editor. In person, I have an incurable sweet tooth, and if you say "Zelda: OoT" or "Avatar" I will perk up like a puppy that just heard its name.
Finally, I have to mention Ryan, cause I am hopeless without love, and this guy is the greatest thing that's ever happened to me. He lurks this guild and never posts. xP Shooting for 3 years!

I was wondering where the old intro thread went. Huh.
I'm Pasta. =) It's fun.
I'm also 20 and in college, and I apparently am insane, because I'm a chemistry major...but there's just something about having my own lab drawer full of beakers and test tubes and my own Bunsen burner that makes me smile. I'm also a chem 10 facilitator, which means I have eight students in basic chem who spend an hour a week with me, getting help on their homework and complaining about what their instructor doesn't teach them.
I know more about games than I used to, but I still only play Kingdom Hearts and Maple Story. Both of those make me very happy inside. =)
I love to read. My room apparently looks like a science fiction/fantasy section of a bookstore, according to friends. Most of my life I've been waiting for some book or another to be published so I can read it, or come out in paperback so I can afford it.
I love Heroes, too. heart
My main hideout is here, but once in a while I venture into my old home (the CB) and chitchat with the people there.

I'm too old. I play WoW, I write, I art, and I do a lot of other things that I find it too inconvenient to rattle my brain and list at the moment. 
I like to read.
Most of the tv shows I fall in love with get canceled.  (Firefly, Quantum Leap, Dead Like Me, Everwood...) I like way too many movies.
I talk too much.
I effing hate spiders.
I eat rocks.

But if you want a quick synopsis, then I guess I can give you one. My name is Adriane. I was born in November of 1986. I reenact the Civil War, cosplay at conventions, and write in my free time. I'm petite in every way possible, but detest compliments on my looks (I'm known for my ability to dodge or shrug them off). I act, I dance, I sing; I'm an actress. I'm crazy and completely random, blunt and honest to the point that I offend others easily.
I've been on Gaia since late May of '04. I've flocked all over the site and call my charity my home. The only thing I'm questing for on Gaia now is art of my OCs. :3

I found out about Gaia because someone told me it was a nice place to meet cool people. Have yet to prove that guy wrong.
