Hyummm, what a lovely morning today was experiencing. What with the sun just barely peeking over the mountaintops, giving the sky a fabulous display of hues. Chocolate dipped ears swivelled back as Geisha tilted his eyes upward. Yes, today was going to be a nice day. Pulling his legs out for a stretch, the kitsu cooed in the morning routine. What a sensation! Then came the fur cleaning, a must for his silky pelt. All the while, Geisha purred to himself, wondering what he may discover today. If he was lucky, maybe meet some new friends in this region. His lantern glown eyes only glowed more with that delightful thought. Once finished grooming, he stood up on the dewy grass and made his way down through the meadow.

It might well be luck, for a Luck kitsu was padding across the meadow. Her ears with their shades of purple lay sadly against the curly fur of her head. Her head with fur in colors of purples fading to reds looked between the sunrise and the gray jade ball she rolled carefully in front of her. The filigree of silver-gray markings on her face ears and paws flickered in the early light when touched by it. But despite the beauty of the morning, despite it being one of her two favorite times of day -sunrise and sunset- Yun looked unhappy. The curly gray ends of her tails were lifted from the ground more out of habit than because they wanted to be -all other indication was that they were close to dragging upon the dewy grass. The sunset hued female paused, silver eyes looking back the way she had come and sighing. Why? Why now had Adumialmîr asked to be alone during the time they had come to share together? Yun sighed heavily, lost in her thoughts and seeing nothing else besides the sunrise and her precious gray sphere which she held protectively between golden paws.

With his clouded flank giving a happy trot, Geisha set about the land. He just loved how surreal this hour felt, with every living thing shaded beautifully. None of that harsh, but glorious, sunlight to interfere with the soft details of the environment around him. Ears were set high as the kitsu scanned about calmly, before one ear twisted sharply to the back. Was that the sound of a pebble? Something heavy, definately, and being pushed along the ground. Peach colored eyes glanced to the side, spotting a form off in the distance.
Was that another kitsu? Geisha tilted his head to inspect, while sauntering nearer. Yes, her three tails gave proof to that. But she was so much different from himself. With a soft smile, the male padded in view, his own tails staying clear from the ground. "Why...hello there lovely. And what pray tell is depressing you this fine morning?" Concern was evident in his eyes, but he held his face smooth from it.

Filigreed ears turned at the greeting, followed shortly by a surprised turn of the head. Head and ears quirked at the sight of the male, silver eyes blinking at him curiously. Lovely? Yun looked about for whom he could be addressing. She did not see any others. Silver eyes widened, returning to look into the male kitsu's peach colored ones. He was calling her lovely? And she was sad. "You... you mean me?"
Her silver gaze looked out from within the filigree mask on her face and with a sigh she hunkered down without actually sitting. Paws on either side of the silver sphere Yun rested her chin upon the smooth, cool surface. Her ears flicked back & forth against her head. "I... Adumialmîr asked me to go away. She wanted to watch the sunrise alone she said. But... why? I don't know why! We always watch the start and close of each day together."
Soft tears moistened her silver eyes and clung there. Yes, the Luck was an adult but clearly not long one: she was still very much a youth inside still.

Geisha only smiled and wagged his tails, amused at how cutely the other took to his greeting. It was only common for him to be so open and polite, and besides that, it was always a treat to see how others reacted to his affectionate callings. "Of course you, silly." There wasn't anyone else in the meadow to talk with, now was there?
Light and cheerful eyes glanced to the stone that he had heard earlier. Except it wasn't a stone, more like a large silver marble. Gloved paws gave the smallest flinch, curious to explore it's smooth and glossy surface. The sigh however made him peek sadly to the other, head tilting. So she was sad. Tails sagged as she told her story. "Hmm, everyone needs alone time, sometime." Geisha gasped softly when he saw her face bothered by tears, and he edged nearer beside her. A gentle snuggle against her sun colored shoulder, much like a mother offering comfort to her young. Still, Geisha left comfotable distance, paying close mind not to touch her adored orb or make her feel surrounded.
"Hey now, don't be so sad. I'm sure your friend didn't mean to upset you. And besides, you and I both know there are still more days to watch. One little skip won't ruin everything." He pulled away from his snuggling, peering up at the girl with a kind smile. "Now then, why don't we start with names. Okay? Mine is Giesha. And what would yours be sweetie?"

Any blush she might have gained would be hidden in the perpetual red fur of her face. At the touch to her shoulder the female relaxed at the familiarity of the feeling of a mothering touch despite it coming from a stranger. She tilted her head, making a soft mewing sound in thanks as the side of her head touched his. "I guess I know that..."
Blink. "Oh! I'm sorry! Burdening you like this when we don't know each other! I'm called Yun." She gave her tails an attempted wag and managed a small but warm smile. "Pleased to meet you, Giesha."
Now she lay down, resting her cheek on the sphere between her paws. "Do you really think so? That she'll watch them with me again? She seemed so... I dunno. She's been getting more & more quiet lately. I can't help feeling it's something I've done, though I don't know what."
Being upset was such an odd thing for the cheerful female and she was starting to look quite confused from that as well.

Stranger? Perhaps. Geisha never took himself under that term, nor the faces he has met. Either way, he was doing his job. Call it a sense of duty to his name, in making sure another around him felt most comfortable. And it seemed to be going smoothly. He chuckled when their heads bumped while nodding to her responce. "And it's a pleasure to meet you Yun." Glowing eyes blinked in his short surprise. "Burden? You're no such thing dear."
He sat back with tails hiding his chocolate feet, watching as Yun rested herself. To her uncertainties, he gave an honest nod. "I'm sure she will. What with how you're reacting I take it you are dear friends." His face fell in thought as she named her friend's symptoms, of sorts. "Hmm, quiet you say? Are you...sure she's not lonely? I doubt you had done anything.....I mean, have you asked her?" He had heard the phrase misery loves company. Was that the situation at hand?

Another might have found the Geisha's use of endearing names unnerving but Yun found an odd comfort in them. She smiled thankfully, glad not to be a burden, She felt like she must have been one for Adumialmîr to wish her go like that.
"Lonely? I don't know, I mean, we live with hordes of others but normally go out on our own. Mîr's been like a mother to me, even though I've outgrown her quite a bit now." Then she was shking her head upon the jade's smooth surface, curling bangs flopping over her face. "She's always pretty quiet, And it was gradual. She said she was thinking when I asked a few days ago..."
Yun looked at the male sideways, her cheek still on the ball. ",,, If Adumialmîr's lonely why would she want to be alone? I was lonely without her so I was going to go home to not be alone, Once the sun was up." She smiled with sweet warmth at him. "I don't feel as lonely now," Gray tipped tails gve a weak wag.

"Hordes of others, you say." Sounded like a party gathering. Delightful as that sounded, Geisha had never been in a room with more than maybe three kitsus. It would be nice to experience. Then again...he wouldn't want to miss out on the morning glows. "Well, it's nice to know you two have such a strong bond. You can be happy for that. Yes?" He lifted one paw and bent it at the wrist, giving him a calm, if not cuddly look. "Ohhh, overthinking can be painful though."
What could there be to think about, Geisha wondered. Certainly too much to list, but to be alone as well? His head tilted at Yun, processing her words softly. "Hmm. Do you think maybe she's thinking of someone? I believe that's good enough reason to want your own space. I suppose..." He wouldn't know, and only smiled to peek at the half risen sun. "There's no hour in the day worth being lonely, that's for certain." He was grateful to be of any use. Enough so that his tails flitted side to side.

The barest of nods that there were hordes, her silver eyes watching curiously. For the first time Yun took a moment to really look at the male. Purple-y, with cloud markings that looked colored by a sunrise or sunset with the peaches & purples. The hair around his face matched, as did his peach volored eyes. His ears and paws were dipped in a chocolate much deeper than the Lupin father & son she lived with, looking almost so like real chocolate that the Luck licked her lips. He was pretty. Comforting, like these times of day could be comforting. Yun never missed a sunrise or sunset unless it was raining or otherwise too overcast to see it. But always with Adumialmîr. This would be the first since she followed the bobtail that first time that Yun was without her 'foster mother's' company. She made a face, nose crinkling. "I don't think I like over-thinking..."
Her eyes widened and her head lifted from her ball so that she could look at Geisha straight. "Do you think so? She's never spoken of anyone, but maybe she met someone before I hatched?" There was an almost mad hope in her eyes. "I don't want her to be lonely..." Then her expression shifted, becoming softer as she studied Geisha's face while her head slowly tilted to the right. "How do you think these things, Geisha? Are you lonely too? But you said 'there's no hour in the day worth being lonely' so that doesn't quite fit..."

The quiet that now matched the morning made him shift his ears. At least he wasn't hearing sniffling from the other. Still, his curiousity made him peek over from the sunrise. Only to blink sheepishly as Yun peered over him. Attention was nice, no doubt, but he couldn't help and fidget each time. Perhaps it was his own beliefs to enjoy from afar. Friendship was that dear to him. But, tell him he was pretty, and he'd agree with a thank you. Humming with a soft smile, Geisha turned his attention to his tails. Yes, overthinking was a bother.
As Yun jumped up with energy, the male simply sat back calmly. Besides, they were only guessing about the friend. What more could they do but be positive? "Maybe, who knows? You should go investigate!" Geisha giggled lightly at the idea, before blinking open one eye towards Yun. "Hmmm, I suppose I'm good at guessing." Ears fell back as the Luck continued her own guessings. All which Geisha had no answers to. So instead, he lifted a paw and tapped it softly on Yun's silver nose. "Well then, that's a quote we'll all just have to figure out, eh?"

Investigate? Her? After Adumialmîr made it very clear she wanted to be on her own, without the Luck nearby? Her silver eyes were wide in a state of uncertain fear at the thought. How would she do that anyway? All Adumialmîr would have to do was go someplace Yun could not fit.
Then there was a paw upon her nose. Silver eyes crossed to watch ir and for a moment the pattern on her cheeks disappearing into the red of the rest of her fur there as she blushed. He... was not family. Giggling she quickly averted her gaze, lowering her chin to rest on her ball again. Though this time the posture was more relaxed, less hopeless. "Maybe I will. Investigate. I don't know how to though." Her eyes opened again, albeit shyly. Maybe the other too. "Do you, Geisha?"

Geisha tilted his head with an 'oh' expression. Judging by Yun's reaction, spying wasn't the best decision. Perhaps her friend was of the moody sort; no good if they were found investigating. And the clouded kitsu blinked when the nose bop made some odd chemical reaction. A blush? Geisha closed his eyes with an apologetic smile, ears flitting down. He didn't want to stir up confusion, he was just...friendly. It was in his nature.
Chocolate ears tilted along with his lavender face. "Me? Investigate? Afraid not deary." He had hoped Yun knew how.

"Oh." Disappointment clouded her bright eyes, spanning across the young adult's face. Still she did not grow as sad as before. Instead Yun became merely thoughtful. Raising her head up from her ball once more the Luck rolled it gently between her paws, eyes cast upon it as if the motion somehow would make the answers come like some magic eight-ball. She did this for some time in gentle, unhurried silence before lifting her gaze once more.
"Geisha... is there a tsunami season here? Do you know?" Yun knew what a tsunami was of course. She did not live in the library as her wizard housemates were prone to do, but she had done some reading during the day especially when it was raining outside & she could curl up with her ball and a book in one of the library's window seats and watch the rain fall. Sometimes she snuggled with Hemi because he was just so... snuggle-able.

Geisha tried to ignore the affect of his lack of knowledge to spying. It had only been a suggestion, so...it wan't something that had to be done. Afterall, there was more than one way to recieve an answer from her friend. The kitsu smiled and shook his head. "Well, at least we're both in the same boat." Even if it was an odd boat with a crack in it. Oh well.
At the mention of Tsunami's, Geisha couldn't help his headtilt. That was an interesting question, one he'd never heard before. "My, my...I wonder." A paw was lifted to his maw as he glanced to the side in thought. "I haven't been in this area long, afterall. But I have seen it once before. It's a rare sight, but so amazing to watch. So long as your in a safe location." The male gave a faint smile to the memory, and all the senses that a tsunami could evoke. It really was something to behold, if you didn't mind that sort of weather. Brows lifted lightly. "Why do you ask, Yun?
