Hello everyone ^.^! That super cool jeopardy game we played last meeting got me thinking and it made me realize that, yes, there are other die-hard Avatar fans out there besides me. Although the show isn't officially an anime, it is based on asian culture as well as the style of animation. If you haven't seen it yet, I very much recommend it! For me..ITS MY FAVORITE SHOW EVER!!! (just look at my sig).
For those who are new to the world of Avatar, I also recommend a very reliable website by the name of www.avatarspirit.org. Also, here's a short description that I read in an online interview between GameTap and the shows co-creator Bryan Konietzko (other co-creator is Michael Dante DiMartino).
Bryan Konietzko: Avatar is an Asian-inspired, martial arts epic animated series about a world where there are four cultures based around each of the four elements. In each of these cultures, there is a select group of people who can manipulate, or "bend," the element of their people. Only the Avatar, a continuously reincarnated being, can bend all four elements. It is his or her job to keep balance in the world, but in this story the Fire Nation wages war against the other three nations.

Dude, Avatar is the best Nick show ever. It doesn't even deserve to be on Nick! It's amazing! The story line is so rich, the characters are beautiful, everything about that show is amazing. Its thanks to Miharu, Paige, that I'm into this show. Thank gawd I am too cuz its SO fun to watch on Fridays after a successful club meeting lmao.

Best... Amerime... show... EVER!!!! OMG!!! Total die hard fan RIGHT HERE!!! hahaha! Surprisingly I didn't make this thread but I suppose that I talk about it so much in real life that I never thought it neccessary. You should have read the journal in my old account that got hacked sadly though. I had a whooooooole article about the history, the making of, and my opinion on it. A nice long read over the show all the way up the episode "Tales of Ba Sing Se" (that's when i wrote that entry).
But yes I am a Sokka fan to no ends! Sokka Roxs my Sockahs... yes... lame... I've been liking him for way too long, his jokes rub off. But don't forget to drink catus juice! It'll quench ya! Nothing's quenchier! It's the QUENCHIEST! and let's give big hand for Sokka from mastering... well... sorta... the art of Swordsmanship! Now he doesn't feel like a nobody anymore. lol But Zuko is also way cool too, even though she's dating that lame emo Mai chick. bleh. But my fav girl in the series is Definately Toph! She is soooooooooo COOL!

Water Bending: Tai Chi
Earth Bending: Hung Gar (except Toph who uses Praying Mantis)
Air Bending: Ba Gua
Fire Bending: Nothern Shaolin
OMG! Katara... poor poor Katara and her totally awesome new power. I mean come on!!! BLOOD BENDING!?!? That's totally SWEET! But I understand why she doesn't want that power.
Oh my fav Episodes from each season are:
Book of Water: Jet
Book of Earth: a threeway tie between "The Cave of the Two Lovers" "Tales of Ba Sing Se" and "The Desert"
Book of Fire (thus far): The Headband
Well I could go on and on and talk about Avatar all day but I think I'll spare some people and shut up for a little bit. lol Oh! before I shut up! didja know about the possible Live Action version!? I hope that it turns out great if it actually gets done! okay! I'm gonna stop typing now. LOL I'll be here all night and I'll take up the rest of this page. lol So I'll stop typing now...

OMG!!!! xd ANOTHER DIE-HARD FAN!!!! WOOOOO! *high 10* to you. Dude, we would SO get along. I'm like crazy with this show! I LOOOOVE IT heart heart heart !!
Oh man, that was a dark episode on friday. It gave me the chills. When you think about it, the whole story about the war is dark, but blood bending! Poor katara. I was thinking "woa I'de brake down if I was her" and she did. That was a harsh experience.
My favorite character of the show, ever since her debue is Toph. She's awsome. I can really relate to her in some ways. And I just love Aang too, they're all great. I'm not so happy with Zuko though.
Favorite Episodes
Book 1:I love that whole "Siege of the North" episodes. I've seen them so many times, great season finale's. Made you laugh and cry.
Book 2: "The Blind Bandit" and the episodes in the desert. Poor Aang. Poor Appa.
Book 3: I LOVED the "Headband". I even had to get it for my ipod.
we'll have to talk more about this one day.

On another note. According to the super reliable people at the Avatar Spirit website who directed me to the latest Nickelodeon Press release, Serena Williams (very famous tennis player) and Mick Foley (WWE wrestler) will be geust voice actors on the "Day of Black Sun" 1 hour episode. It airs Friday, November 30th. Set you DVRs and T-VO's!

But dude, how unfair is it that the frikkin UK got episodes before us?! They got to watch 2 per week! They're already done with premieres! I'm so tempted to go on youtube and watch the rest there but then again, I wanna remain a true fan and watch them on their premiere nights here accordingly. I've been refraining from doing that for the past 3 weeks T__T.

Yeah I know what you're saying. dude, people keep trying to spoil it for me! They won't leave me alone! I already know something kinda important that's gonna happen because I tell them that I don't wanna know and they either get too excited to hold it in, or they walk past me and whisper it loud enough for me to hear. THAT'S NOT COOL! T______T I didn't wanna know those things. From one Avatar fan to another I promise not to spoil it for you like so many have done for me! T__T man it sucks to know now. It makes it less special! grrrr!
Yeah I need some merchandise too man! I was so tempted to go to the Nick store and buy that frikkin Momo plushie! That's what I want! a Momo plushie! or an Appa plushie. Or both! lol

Yeah man, I wonder whats gonna happen with Aang. He's really flippin out and I wonder how that'll affect his ability to go against the Fire Lord. And Zuko... oh geeze stop the fakin and go beat somethin up... like you're sister or you're father and break up with that frikkin girl your with that I don't like >_< Blah!!

OH i know! that fight was hilarious!!! Wow Aang literally lost his mind. Dang, i got the chillies when he had that whole hallucination with him and katara and all that. I was just staring and thinking "wait its not real its not real" but it was kind of a long scene for just a hallucination. They were just messing with us sweatdrop . I cant believe the season is almost over. WOW

And he's still got his pants. bwhahaha! Dude, that whole kiss scene was frikkin great. Aang's bad acting skills and the gross puckering picture with the drool hanging from his lip. hahaha! Ah yeah, I gotta say that was another favorite to add to the list.

You could tell they had a blast making this episode! I loved Aang's costumes LOL!! xd xd xd Well that whole aang katara scene just assured one thing...When it actually happens that Aang says what he really feels its gonna be totally different then how he dreamt it. There's no way they could have it be too similar because people wont enjoy it as much having already seen it. You know?
