Odd rested quietly in the thick branches of an ancient tree. He dared not even to try and guess the age of the monstrous plantlife, nor was he particularly concerned with it. It offered him a dark, shaded spot to rest his wings and for that he was greatful.

"When we gonna move again, huh? Huh?" A dark furred chirop fluttered about his head, her bright eyes shone with an eager light, she was full of energy and ready to be on the move.

"Settle down, Moth, I need to rest. I'm feeling dizzy." The told his little companion; there was a hint of pleading in his voice and she settled at once. "Again? Knew we shoulda gone to Runewing th'other day. We need ter get a 'arness, that way I can lead y'when y'aren't feelin' well." She chastized him, knowing full well that she could get away with it. They were very dependant on eachother and were quite close.

Anil flew threw the trees quickly with his dark greyChirop Companion Estrella behind him. "Anil can we stop Estrella getting tired, been flying for to long" Came a small voice came from the Chirop.

Anil turned his head look at her " Sure" he said and landed on Old tree that had shaded spot where they could rest.
Estrella grabbed her a branch and wrapped herwings around her self. "So when would me and Anil be going back to home to bring little Celestia food"

Anil Looked at estrella " Soon estrella for the time being since I left her some food , and she had just gone to sleep when we left" he said.

Moth's sensitive ears pricked and the little chirop scrambled up attop the albino sentinel's back. She perched on his head, a sharp contrast to his vibrant white feathers.

"I 'ear others, Oddie." She told him, her whiskered maw twitching as she tested the air, then plummeted from her feathery perch, catching a gust of wind as she did so. She flapped up twards him again, watching the serene looking creature with concern. "Want we should talk to them? Mebbeh? Mebbeh? We're gonna talk to them." She determined, without waiting for the sentinel to respond. She shot off like a rocket.

"Don't get yourself eaten, Moth. I need you." Odd Winter called after her, his red eyes still resting.

The curious, outgoing little chirop flapped with little hesitation towards Anil and Estrella. "Allo?" She called cheerfully, keeping a slight distance, just in case this particular sentinel was fond of chirop meat. She doubted it, as he had a chirop of his own, but one could never be too careful.

There was the sound of rapidly beating wings, the air snapping underneath him as the little bluish Chirop came to a halt on a high branch. His claws gripped at the bark as he scrabbled along the tree, small chest heaving as he tried to catch his breath. Sensitive ears twitched and swivelled towards the others, their voices and movements echoing loudly within his head.

"Here, there are others!" He whispered, half-startled as the silent Sentinel landed next to him. The companion pointed and waved his wing at the small gathering while Stormbringer pulled his own wings in, turning his head to study them, the pure white sentinel catching his attention at first as a great contrast to the otherwise dark Wood.

"I see, Meren. You did well." Bright amber eyes peered through the branches and leaves, his movements subdued even while Meren prodded at the jewel that hung about his chest. Stormbringer was content to watch, for now.

Estrella heard another voice that she did't recognize and turned her head toward the other Chirop "Oh, Oh Anil, another Chirop can Me meet it, can me meet it" She said estrella.

Anil Nodded his head "Of course estrella, you knwo you don't have to ask me" He turned his head toward the dark Chirop. " and hello little one"

Estrella smiled and and opened her wings and flew toward her "Hello me is Estrella, and you are?" She asked her.

"I am called Moth." The dark furred chirop greeted Estrella enthusiastically and perched near her, beaming at both the other chirop and Anil. She waved a wing back towards the way she had come. "I belong to my Oddie, he's back that way."

The sentinel she indicated was hard to miss, he was like a beacon in the darkness due to his snowy feathers.

"He says hello, too, "She lied, but knew he wouldn't mind, " just he couldn't fly out this way just yet."

"Me is gald to meet Moth" Estrella looked the way that Moth pointed toward and saw a snowy Owl "Why his all the way there and can't fly toward we" she asked. "Oh and this is Anil" she said happily

Anil watched as the two talked with each other and he turned to look at Odd.

"Oddie has the dizzies, they make his stomach hurt, and he has a hard time seeing sometimes." Moth explained as she watched Odd from a distance. Most likely, he could not see them from where he was perched, hear them perhaps, but not see them.

Twilla moved silently through the trees, the only thing that really gave her away was the chattering mus that sat between her wings, clinging to her feathers.

"Oi, right, usn'z jest 'bout lost a limb gettin' offa that floor, I tell ja!" The gray furredmus proclaimed, his eyes flashing with a slight fear.

"Yeah right, and you complain, I was the one flying. Woulda been me that got hurt the worst!" The young female gatherer argued. She had just deposited her small harvest in the pile the gatherers had growing.

Stormbringer turned his head towards Twilla and her companion, Meren having a hard time staying put. The sentinel knew the chirop was itching to socialize, though he wasn't about to plunge into the gathering. He wasn't used to others, and it was strange enough that he was in the Deep Woods at all; he spent most of his time patrolling the borders near the mountains, and usually only came to the center for reports.

He shook out his body and Meren mimicked, his little ears slapping against his head as he leaned over on the branch until he was hanging upside down from it, his wings flapping wildly. "Look, she's a girl, Storm! Are you leaving now?" The little companion was well-acquainted with his friend's dislike - or as he called it - 'fear' of ladies.

"Silence, you," the Sentinel snapped, his beak clicking as he fluffed his feathers, his head turned towards the briefly cowering Meren. He was quite aware that Twilla was a girl. Though as long as he wasn't spotted or approached, he would stay, and even if he was...

Well, he'd try and be civil.

"Oi, lookit! He's a fierce lookin' one." The mus tugged on Twilla's headfeathers, a habit that highly irked her. She was about to complain, but her icy eyes fell on Stormbringer.

He looked uncomfortable and slightly foreboding.

"So he does, what'sit to you, mus-breath?" She asked Auze with a chuckle. "Not exactly easily approachable, mind you."

"Y'should go 'n talk to him." He encouraged, tugging at her feathers once more. "Y'should, it'll make fer good entertainment, I bet."

"S'that all you want? Me t'look like a fool so you can have a good laugh?" An indignant look crossed her expressive face.

"Well, yeah, of course." The mus laughed. He stifled his laugh as Twilla took him up on his challenge. She landed silently further down the branch from Stormbringer, Auze gave a slight squeak of fear and shrank down against her back.

"G'dafternoon, Sir." Twilla gave the male a slight bow and what appeared to be a grin.

The gray-blue male had listened intently to their conversation, his body turning rigid as he heard of the proposal. Meren heard too, a grin growing upon his maw.

This... would be good.

The little chirop scuttled up to the top-side of the branch as Twilla took off, claws holding him steady as she landing, shaking the branch a little. A quick turn of his head was all Stormbringer gave to the lady, amber eyes growing wide as he puffed out his chest and bowed to her stiffly. "And to you, miss," he croaked, almost miserably.

"Och! 'Allo! Who are you, and you!" Piped the small companion, pointing a wing at the lady and the mus.

She blinked cheerfully at Stormbringer. Just as she imagined, not exactly the approachable type. His little chirop was charming, though.

"I'm Twilla, and the little rodent on my back is Auze." She shook, fluffing her feathers. At that, the acrobatic little mus released his grip and landed nimbly on the branch.

"'lo..." He stated shyly, tracing a claw over the rough bark.

"May I ask who you are?" She turned her icy eyes back towards Stormbringer.

"I see, I see! Pretty gal, Twilla!" Meren sniffed about the mus, prodded about and flapping at him. "I'm meren! And that's -"

"Stormbringer," the Sentinel spoke abruptly, cutting off the chirop. He turned his head and trained it on the little group, eyes half-lidded as he shifted his wings, the jewel of the necklace bouncing around slightly. "It is a pleasure to meet you." He took it upon himself to avoid looking directly at her at all costs, so instead, focused on Auze. "And you too."

"Yes, a pleasure!" Meren cocked his head to the side, trying to look in Auze's face. "Shy?"
PostPosted: Wed Nov 21, 2007 9:53 pm

"The pleasure is all mine, I assure you." She stated towards Stormbringer and eyed the markings over his wings. They were striking and echoed his name. "I like that, Stormbringer, It's an intriguing name." She clucked her beak slightly, then nudged Auze forward.

"N-n-no, not't all." Auze stood on his hind legs and puffed out his chestfur, striking a poze, but it did nod hide the fear he had of Stormbringer, no matter how hard he tried to hide it.

"You are too kind," he replied, though he stretched out a wing to admire them. He had a bit of a vain streak, and that was probably one of his weaknesses - compliments.

"You look shy! You t-t-talk funny!" Meren giggled, shaking his head. "But here's a secret! Storm's shy too!"

"Meren!" Stormbringer moved closer to his companion, his great body leaning forward as he eyed him fiercely. "What have I told you?"

"Not so scary, he is!" The bluish chirop chirped, flapping his wings in an effort to get behind Auze. The sentinel shook his head, slightly agitated, and sighed shortly.
