Aenakume's shoujo-ai picture gallery!!
It's been a long time coming, but here it is at last! Post your shoujo-ai pics here to share with everyone!
Rules
exclaim Keep your images PG-13. I understand that ratings like PG-13, just like all forms of censorship, are largely bullshit, but nevertheless we all have to abide by it. Absolutely no nipples showing, and of course no genitals. And the pictures should be beautiful and artful, not pornographic. If in doubt, get my ok before you post.
exclaim Keep your picture sizes reasonable, don't stretch the page too far with huge images. Let's say 800 pixels wide is the max width, and 800 pixels high is also a reasonable max height. This is not a hard and fast rule - if it's a truly good pic, by all means, let it stretch. Or, if you like, you can use thumbnails that link to the pic.
exclaim If you are going to use links to the picture, link directly to the image. Do not link to a web page with the image on it. If you want to link to a page with lots of images, state clearly that that's what it is, and warn if there are popups and things like that, and especially if the page is not worksafe.
exclaim Try to keep each post to around five images, max, unless you're using thumbnails. If you're using thumbnails, keep it to somewhere between ten and fifteen, max.
exclaim Shoujo-ai pics only. That means pics with two or more girls. No guys. And the girls should be showing some kind of affection, like cuddling or kissing or something like that. That's what shoujo-ai is. If in doubt, get my approval before you post.
exclaim No lolicon. Try to keep the ages of the girls in the picture over the age of majority, people. Certainly over the age of five. -_-
exclaim Again, keep it PG-13. If in doubt, get my approval before you post.

To start things off, I figured that I'd post the source images I used for the guild's banners and signature images. Some are pretty much just used as is, others were heavily edited.
This one was chosen to be the main guild entrance banner image, because it's so beautiful, and because the girl is holding a book (this is a literate guild, get it), and because there is a hint of sexuality that is just implied. As you can see, in the guild banner image, I rotated it and added that dream-like bordering that I like.
This was our second choice for the guild banner image. Saria liked it's beautiful, dreamy, and sketchy look, but I kinda thought the girls looked a little young, and it didn't have the implied sexuality - and the book - that the other did. I did pretty much nothing to this pic, it came with the border.
This is one of my favourite source images for the banners. I live the naughty imagery - I really like pics that have an angel and a demon together. I also loved the blatant sexuality, and the fact that it looked like they were being so naughty and just didn't give a s**t. I added the same dreamy border that I added for the first one, but otherwise, did nothing to this pic.
The naughtiest pic of all. ^_^ The banners made from this pic have gotten us a hell of a lot of attention. ^_^ In fact, it was so successful that I made two banners from the same pic. The first one I rotated the pic, and put it in a black frame that had that torn away look. For the second one, I had to add some extensions to the blonde's hair, to make it curl away without a hard cutoff.
This one is my personal favourite. I liked the banner I made from this so much I signed it. If you look at the source picture you see those two little circles there by the girl's face. I used them as the tail of a thought bubble. I just love this pic, it's so playful and naughty by itself, but I think the banner is also the funnest because of the joke.
This is one of the most heavily edited of all of the source images. I totally removed the eye chart - in fact, I removed the entire background. I also edited the shorter girl's face - I changed the look of terror to a smile. And of course, I separated the two. I did all this because I wanted a banner with two women looking at each other. I think the end result, despite all that work, is meh.
I wanted a banner with a Japanese theme, because this is an anime role-playing community, and I thought this picture was beautiful, and had a nice traditional Japanese ink-painting flavour. I did some slight editing to make a smooth transition, but otherwise, I didn't do anything. I have another, bigger version of this picture, that shows more than just the faces. I'll post that someday later, I promise.
When I saw this picture, I fell in love with it. It's small, but it's soooooo beautiful. I totally love it! heart When I made the banner, I had to extend the fence, and if Saria hadn't been hounding me to finish it, I would have added fence posts. ^_^ The transition is also a little rough, but ah well. This one and the Japanese inspired one are the only two that I think I might go back to some day and improve.
There are probably more to come, too. When I get a few more, I'll make a new post, then edit this one to put a link here, ok?

Ok, to kick things off, here is just a small sampling of my collection. ^_^ These are a few cutie pics that I like.
I normally don't like shoujo-ai pics where one of the girls looks like she's being assaulted, or she's afraid. I love the ones where both girls look like they're having a blast. In this one, only the one girl looks like she's really having a good time, but it's so cute I can't resist. T.T
This happens everytime Saria drags me along shopping, and yet she still drags me. ^_^ I'm the one on the left, of course, and usually, what I'd be encouraging her to try on would be a lot less PG-13 than that. ^_^
This one is so minimalist... and soooo cute. ^_^
I love this pic. ^_^ The finger just makes it so much better.
I can't decide whether I like this style or not, but I can't help but admit that it's cute. ^_^
