A Series of Unforunate Events (Books and Movie)

I loved, no, ADORED the books when I was in grade school, but I never finished the entire series due to limitations in the library. I don't even remember up to what boon I've read to.

In the movie, I was surprised with what the writers came up with as far as actor/actresses go. I pictured Klaus to be a plump boy with glasses, like the one in the illustrations in the book. I also imagined Violet more...thin. ((I never expected Klaus to be so attractive!!! Oh, Liam Aiken!!! heart ))

Anyways, I give the movie 4/5 because it didn't follow the first few books as much as I would have liked. Oh, well.

i nevber even HEARD of the books before the movie came out, and then they were all over books a million! eek still havn't read them though, cause i kinda got banned from that store... sweatdrop anyway, i liked the movie! ^w^ and yes, klaus' actor is a cutie... >.> jim carey is funny as hell! mrgreen

like i said, i never read the books. o.0; all i know is, the movie guy was an interesting character. i always liked insane people. anyway, i need to read the books. but i'll take your word for it until i can see for myself.

I have read all the books in order from one to thirteen. I also saw the movie. It was around 65% different than the books. A lot of events did not happen. In my opinon, the makers of the movie should have done it this way: one movie per book. That way, all of the other events would occur. I wanted to watch the thirteenth book to take place, but it wasn't in there at all.

i read all but the first and last books, and i hate the movie! mad tottaly murdered the series! poor lemeny snicket crying ...i know i cant spell, lol.
