It was the evening of the next day that Kimo called Daniel up and told him he wanted him to report at the house. He had something serious to talk to him about. And he so purposely did it in a manner to make Daniel scared to death about being caught of video or something worse happening.
When Daniel arrived though, Kimo was sitting indian-legged on the living room floor, only yelling at Daniel's knock for him to come in. He gave his trainee a grin, "You are AWESOME!!!" He informed him.

Kimo's voice had sounded as though the matter was urgent. Like the cops were just a few steps away from him, and if he didn't make it there in time, something horrible would happen. Needless to stay, he was there in record time. It honestly probably beat his previous best time by five whole minutes. By the time he got there, he was sweating and breathing hard.
"That's it? That's what you wanted to tell me?" He breathed a sigh of relief, despite his slight annoyance at the face that he'd ran all the way there just to learn that. "Kimo, I gotta tell you... We kinda already knew that."

"You made that fireball appear out of now where. That's more awesome than before. And that for saving my tail. I wonder if you could do that without panicking." He mused, smile widening as he looked him over while talking, "Did you enjoy your workout? Would you like something to drink?"

"All right, I have to admit that that was pretty awesome." He practically beamed from the compliment. "But you would have done the same thing if you were in my position. I mean, who wouldn't want to blast that guy into next week?" He grinned back to the other man. "I'm still a little drained, but I'll survive. And I'll take whatever you got."

"Well, I'm not your servant, go raid the freakin' fridge yourself!" Kimo scolded. He was too comfortable to stand.
When Daniel came back with whatever drink and possible snack he'd snatched, Kimo had pulled up a notebook computer. "Should I agree to host a meeting here? Of evolveds?" He looked up, smirk on his face, "A few I know, most I don't. Kids like yourself, some of them. Most of them new and scared. I think that you're the example they need. What d'you say?"

"You're the one who offered! Don't blame me for thinking that you'd be courteous for once in your life." He scoffed playfully as he passed to go to the kitchen. He'd been there enough to know the way himself.
As he returned, he chugged a soda. The can temporarily obstructed his vision, preventing him from noticing the computer at first. However, once he moved the drink to breathe, it was obvious. "Fine, if you want to hold it, I'll be there." He sighed. "I suppose I can try to get my act together. At least, enough to be a good influence for them."
