Lions need their Prides. In order to survive, often times they need to hunt together to find food. Zahina are no different. However, their Prides are more for social interaction than anything else. It has long been tradition, and so it will continue again finally.
Now, what this means is, you can now have a Pride. How do you make a pride you ask? Well, you can just say 'oh look, i have a pride.' It takes atleast four other Lions (not your own, for a total of 5 people) to form a Pride. It also requires the cost it takes to make a new subforum (2500g i believe). You can split that however you like between people, or have one person pay, it is completely up to you.
Now. Pride's are going to be used for a -lot- of RP. As Zahina's are now going Rp required, most new lions will want to join in. This needs to be RP'd, and will be done so in this thread. All pride to pride RP will be done in your Pride's Subforum. And any Rp with lions outside of your pride in a different pride should be done in the general RP area. This will include all quests that i will be running people through.
All Prides will require a structure to them. Be it one leader, or three. Head females or not, but there needs to be some sort of pecking order for RP purposes. Also, the main leader(s) will be in charge of reporting exceptional RPers to the RP manager or Mule for RP prizes. (which can include many different things) These will obviously be looked into, and prizes will be given out once a month, or every other month.
I hope this all makes sense. If it does not, please don't hesitate to ask questions on the main thread where i can answer them. Below are listed rules for Prides and a Faq, for your convenience. ^_^ I hope they help.
1. Prides must always have atleast 5 total individuals. You must recruit for more if someone leaves.
2. You must pay for a subforum to get a Pride.
3. Graphics will be made available for threads. You need not use them, but you are free to if you are part of a Pride.
4. You can not charge an entry fee for someone to join a Pride.
5. All Pride RP will follow gaian rules, as well as RP/main thread rules for Zahina Pride.
6. All cubs born between two pride members are part of that pride. cubs born from two seperate prides will be RP'd into one or none of the prides. What privilages you have in either pride after that is up to the pride itself.
7. We encourage RP both in and outside of Prides. spread the love =P
8. Pride leaders are expected to keep records of things, including description of Pride, Names, ect. How the leaders get the info is up to them. Other pride members can write it. The leaders are just in charge of making it available for all to see.
9. We currently will not have prides at war. You can be weary of other Prides, but full out war is not an option.
10. You may not post in a specific Pride's forum unless you have permission. Even still, it must be that you are seeking membership, or had cross pride cubs.
How do i join a pride?
You RP it in the Pride Subforum. NOT the individual pride, but the general pride subforum.
Do i have to join a pride?
No, but if you want RP rewards, or if you have an RP required pet, it is your best bet. You may however, be a lone lion if you want. The general RP threads will just be your haunting ground =P
Can i have cubs with someone outside of my pride?
You betcha. You need to know them of course, but yes. you can.
What pride are my cubs in if they're cross pride born?
This is completely up to the prides and the parents. Both prides could decide they no longer want the parents and cubs, or a tribe could decide to adopt the cubs, but not the member from the other Pride. All this is to be RP'd. (preferably in the breeding thread). If you feel you are being mistreated during these RP's, please inform the RP manager or store owner for it to be sorted out
Do i have to pay to be in a pride?
At the forming of a pride, the price of a subforum is required from the founding members, split however they want. Pride is 2500g. After that however, it requires only Rp to get in. You should never pay an entry fee to anyone.
Can my Pride make war with another Pride?
Not right now, no. You can attempt to avoid other prides if that is the pride's wish, but no full out war. Zahina lions are all under the care of the Goddess, and she would not approve of her favourites fighting.
