Make sure your prepared!
First you will need Audacity
Second you will need the Lame Plugin for MP3 encoding

When you first open Audacity it will look something like this.


I should have already recognized your mic. You should be able to to hear it slightly in the background. If not then you should check your wiring. xd This problem I know not on how to fix.

Create an Audio Track:
To create your audio you need to do is hit record and go. It will automatically create a new audio track for every time you hit record.

Adding Music:
Adding music is as simple as going Project>>>Import Audio and selecting your song.

Moving Objects:
To select an object you need to use the to highlight the section you want to move and use the to slide it across the timeline.

Creating a fade:
When stringing music together it is more pleasing to create a fade between songs. To make a fade you need to grab the fade tool. This will show you blue bars on your audio file. Click where you want the fade to start. It will leave a small white dot on the blue bars.

Click on your end point and drag down. It should look like this.

You can create a fade in and fade out sequence to make the music blend seamlessly into another. Just make sure there is some overlap on the two songs like so.


Exporting:
When you go to export your project as an MP3 for the first time it will ask you to locate your audacity LAME plugin. Audacity itself cannot export as an MP3 and uses LAME to export. (Copyright issues.) It could take a while to export.

Uploading to Podbean

1)Click Publish Podcast to get to your publishing dashboard.
2)Go to the upload tab and click upload.
3)Select your file and submit. (It takes a looooooong time)
4)Hit the publish tab and fill out the form.

OMG that was great. I like the songs so who ever picked them shouldn't die just yet^-^.
Is there anyone who doesn't pick on Destructo? I'm up for that Aya, think the others might? Also if not we can do it with like 3 of us.

Oh good! That means me and Destructo get to live. As for obtaining them... I would say either look them up by name to find them or you could shoot Destructo a pm and I'm sure he could find a way to get them to you.

xd I was too shy to do the show myself, so big thanks to Reiven for being the main MC, Rhies for providing the musical introlude, and Destructo for being the resident punching bag.

But yes, if you have any suggestions for the next show then do tell. Announcements, guild member interviews, movie reviews, ect that would make the show even better.

Boss already has responsibility for the next one, but we can take the one after that. That gives me some time to play with Audacity and see what I can figure out (downloaded it today)

Hey, I wasn't always the punching bag. We tried adding Bass and lower Pitch to Kazu's voice. Sounded like a child molester.

No I didn't! Now if the test phrase was something like "Cone here little boy." Then I could see that.

So are we in fact leaving it once a month? I'd like to try for 2-3 times a month.

Twice a month would be cool, but at least once. I would however have to suggest we keep it below 20 minutes. It takes a while to upload. xd
