 An exasperated sigh left the young kit. The day was fool, early spring had melted most of the winter snow leaving only a very few patches. She wanted to have some fun, but her sister was boring and her mother was to lazy to play with her. Her spoiled little sister only liked playing if it was something she was good at and was allowed to win and Hedda found that not only annoying but no fun. She hated before made to play things that she didn’t enjoy, which because of her sister, where most games the other kit liked. So an adventure was what she planned to have today. She was inquisitive and wondering around by herself kept her happy.
She’d passed through and out of the woods they lived in right now and had found a stream to splash in for a short time before continuing on. She’s found a berry bush at which she had enjoyed her lunch and now lay beside it trying to decide where to go next. She wondered why she’d never found any other kits to play with, wondered if there where even any other Ulaya around these parts and kind of wishes she had a friend. Learning up she pawed at a berry till it fell from the branch and she caught in out of mid air then rested on her back. Maybe she should just go home, nothing exiting seemed to be happening here.

Not too far from the kit... or too high in this case, an uncolian pondered his situation. Abel had found himself high in a tree, not too far from the berry bushes. To be honest, he was maybe only a few feet up, his clothing caught on a branch and he was desperately trying to free himself... though he only managed to make himself slip and fall from the branch he was on several times, though luckily catching himself before he fell.
The only reason he was up in the tree was because he had gotten himself lost. Climbing up a tree, he thought was a good idea cause then he could see where he was and where he was supposed to go. What he didn't expect was to get stuck. So now, here he was stuck in a tree, calling for help.

Getting up and going home was exactly what she was getting ready to do when the kits ears perked up at a noise in the trees. It sounded light something had fallen, but as she watched nothing hit the ground. Some sort of smaller animal maybe? Pushing herself up on all four paws she walked closer and looked up into the branches and leave, but she couldn’t see much at all. Placing her front paws up on the bark she tried making herself taller to see more, to no success really, and still she couldn’t see what had made the noise. “ H…Hello? ” Her voice faulted slightly as she spoke, not from fear, but from the idea that came over her as she spoke that she was merely talking to the tree.
Maybe the noise had been in her head or it was a branch shifting in the breeze. Quickly she glanced around to see that there was no one watching her before she looking up again. The last thing she needed right now was for her Mother of sister to show up and see her, then think her crazy.

Once again, Abel tried freeing himself from the branch's grip with no avail. He let out an exasperated sigh before hearing a small voice coming from below him. Shifting, he peered down to see who was calling out to him.
Upon seeing only a kit, he whined inwardly, not seeing how it could possibly help him in his situation. But, he wasn't going to look a possible 'gift horse' in the mouth. "Y-yes. Up here. I-I seem to have gotten myself stuck. Do you think you can help me?"

Blinking as she stared a moment, Hedda slowing shifted herself and looked up into the branchs of the tree. The young uncolian grinned at the male she saw above and had a moment where she thought about turning and acting as if she hadn't seen him. She still didn't care for males after all. But she knew tha she might be the only one that would see him and she would feel bad if he never got himself down.
Looking back from him to the tree she tried to plot a rout to the top. " I've never climbed a tree before. " She looked to Abel again and wondered how he'd gotten up there and why. " What are you doing up there? "

The uncolian desperately hoped that the kit below him could help as he looked back to his snagged garments. Why must they be so long? He whined to himself for a moment. Upon hearing the kit's words about never climbing a tree, a large frown appeared on his face. Oh dear... that's not good. He thought before looking back down and answering her. "I had gotten lost and thought a higher stand point would have helped me see where I was. I'm afraid I wasn't counting on getting stuck."

She muttered something to herself about how ‘it would be smart to think thing through better when you decided to do them‘, and ‘how taking the cloths off might have been a good idea, stupid man.’ She didn’t bother keeping her voice low enough that he couldn’t hear her. Rolling her eyes up at him her gaze once more fell to the tree and the ground at the foot of it. She was to small to reach the lowest branch and there didn’t seem to be anything here that would help her. She stepped back and paces a moment, walking once around the large tree before something popped into her mind. There had been a rock that she had seen, a large one, on her way here. If she could move it she might be able to get to the low hanging branch, in fact she was sure of it.
Looking up once more she grinned, she’d help him but she was going to go get the rock with out a word to him. Let him worry that she was leaving him there. So turning away from Abel and the tree she scurried off towards home and the rather large rock she hoped she could move. It didn’t take her long to find it, but she hadn’t realized when she had thought about it that part of it was buried underground. Sighing she started to dig, knowing she would take longer then she planned.

Abel didn't hear the first mutterance of the kit, but he did hear the second. At that thought, he blushed deeply and his fur bristled slightly. "I'm not going around nakid! Just because you seem comfortable doing it doesn't mean I am." He replied with a soft huff at the end. How silly... going around nakid. He thought.
He looked back down to see what the kit was up to, only to see that she had vanished. Ears drooping just slightly, he looked around. A small worried feeling sank through him, but he had faith that the kit would help him. Perhaps she had just gone off to get some help? See, that was a possibility to depend on.

Hedda found herself getting more irritated with the male stuck up in the tree as she tried her best to dig out the rock. It was a lot larger then she had thought it was so there was a lot of digging to do. Felling the heavy object shift as the pulled out more dirt from around it she pulled back, jumping out of the way as it fell over. She watched as it rolled down the small hill it was on top of and grinned before following it. When it stopped finally she used all of her strength to push in over the flattened landscape.
She found herself wondering in the back of her mind if the male might be alright. She didn’t like males but she wasn’t the type that would take joy if he was hurt due to herself leaving him there. Sighing she pushed the rock harder, falling forwards and it all but flew away from her. “ Oof. ” She let out a small squeak as she hit the ground shifting her eyes to watch the rock roll down yet another slop and the slam right into the tree Abel was trapped in. Smiling proudly she pushed herself up and calmly walked forwards as if she had meant to do what she just had. Looking up to see the male she eyed him. He looked alright to her. “ Hey, I’ll be up in a minute. ” Climbing the rock she looked over the branches to try and get an idea of what path to take. ‘ This shouldn’t to be hard. ’

Abel sighed softly as he waited for the kit to return, unaware of her trying to dig up a large rock. He shifted himself carefully to lay down onto the branch, peering down every now and then for any sign of the kit. As he waited, he caught sight and sound of something else rather than the kit. Blinking, he looked down to see a rock rolling toward the tree. This will be bumpy. He thought. Just as he predicted, the rock slammed into the tree, causing it the shake some before finally swaying to a stop. After making sure he didn't slip from the branch, he glanced around to see the kit walk to the tree soon after. He glanced down to her as she jumped onto the rock. "Take your time."

With a quick leap she used her hide legs to launch her towards the first branch. Wrapping her front legs up and over it she held on tightly as she kicked her beck legs to try and get up onto it. Pulling herself up she looked down at the rock a moment and smiled, actually quiet proud of herself. Looking up it was only a short hop to the next branch and she look it with ease. It only took her another 10 minutes to make it up to Abel’s branch. By this time she’d gotten rather good at walking along the tree limbs without worry of falling and made her way over to the male. The tree creaked and groaned as her weight was added to the males but she thought nothing of it. Looking at him as he lay there and tried to smile politely, she wasn’t sure why she bothered, but it came out almost like a glare instead. “ So do I get some sort of reward for getting you down? ” She did really actually want anything except to give him a hard time at this point.

His red tipped wings fluttered lightly, rustling the leaves slightly. Bi-colored eyes watched at the kit made her way, slowly at first, up through the branches, then finally up to the branch he was on. Abel's fur frizzed just slightly when he heard the branch creak as she walked onto it, but couldn't help but wonder how heavy the kit was that she caused it to creak in the first place. Smiling warmly to her, he paid no mind to her 'glare'. It was when she asked about a reward is when he frowned. "I'm afraid I won't be able to give you anything but my sincerest gratitude."

She let out a huff of air, tilting her nose up slightly. “ Typical male… wants something from a female but couldn’t be bothered to offer anything ‘real’ in return. ” She spoke under her breath, making sure however that it was just barely loud enough to hear before she actually spoke too him. “ Well if you have nothing to offer them why should I help you? I mean, if there’s nothing in it for me I don’t fell to willing to do anything. ” She had to force herself not to grin as she spoke. She didn’t consider herself the nicest Ulaya ever, but she wasn’t mean enough to leave him there. Well, not forever at least.

"Typical male? Please, don't confuse me with some random flirt. Surely, if I had some sort of reward, I would have offered it, now wouldn't I?" He retorted, a frown on his face at what he heard. He then sighed and lied back down, curling his paws under him. "I figured everyone had a bit of compassion in their hearts, but if you don't wish to help me, then I can't force you. I'm sorry for taking up your time." With that, he curled up, leaving the kit to do as she wished now.

Her eyes narrowed again and she stared to him. She had compassion in her heart, she just didn’t show it often. At least she thought she did. Thinking back she tried to remember the last time she helped someone, someone that wasn’t her mother for younger sister. But she realized she couldn’t remember. Sighing she looked to Abel a moment before standing again. Stepping closer to him she reached up with her front paws to the branch his cloths hung from. Breaking some of the smaller twigs and pulling his cloths loose she had him free in a matter of minutes. She remained silent as she worked, not even looking at him now.
