AIM RP Log -- Felyn & Shariea
Tejasvi'Nila & Eyri

It was a lazy day, a pretty day, but one that Tejasvi would deem as simply unremarkable. The sun blazed high overhead, clouds dappled the sky here and there to offer scurrying bits of shade from time to time, and a gentle breeze sturred the foliage here on the edge of the jungle. Reclining beneath the shade of a tree, Tejasvi stared out across the expanse of land that stretched beyond the border of the jungle. She saw no one, as she had seen no one all morning.

"Just as well," she said softly to herself, tail flickering as she leaned to lick her own shoulder, grooming. Her stomach was swollen, her body heavy with cubs, and she was somewhat thankful she didn't have to deal with the stress of a rogue today.

The warm sun caressed his back as he slowly made his way back towards the borderlands. Eyri couldnt help but let a small smile pull at his lips as the sight of home graced the horrizon. Renewed engery filled his body and he stepped forward with vigor. The air was warm but scarcely a breeze as it had been for what seemed like forever. Eyri had left to track the game and mirgration patterns of their prey, knowing where to hunt and when made it much easier to bring home a bounty to feed the hungry mouths. With a hop in his step he continued forward, until of corse he noticed a splash of color against the foliage. The lion paused for a moment and tilted his head, well not wasnt she a sight for sore eyes? He approched his sister slowly, as not to starle her. "Greetings." he called out to her when he was close enough.

Tejasvi turned her eyes very slowly in the direction she heard the voice, letting the green orbs settled on the pale figure that stood off to her side. A slow smirk curled her maw as her brother approached her slowly, her smirk warming to a smile as she pushed herself up into a sitting position.

"Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes, Eyri," she said softly, tail twitching behind her as she watched him. If he'd been any other male, she might have been offended by his forwardness with her, but being that she had been raised with him, he was allowed to do a bit more than anyone else.

Eyri smiled as she greeted him and lightly dipped his head in a formal nod to her as a sign of resepect towards his sister. She may be his sister but he would still show her all the resepect due her rank. The snow white lion sat back on his haunches and curled his tail lightly around his forpaws. The light blue mane puffing up a bit around his face as he moved. "I could say the same for you." he said with a light chuckle. "You look very well. " he stated, with a small nod towards her swollen belly.

She nodded at his words, her eyes following the direction he motioned, staring at her own swollen stomach before she finally replied to him. "Thank you, I decided it was finally time to try and bring an heir into this world." She let her tail flicker as she glanced out at the lands, and then slowly back to him once more, "Kianga is expecting her own as well."

"Did you find good game?" she asked with a little quirk of her brow, looking out at the lands again. She was watchful, even while talking to him, but it was just her nature.

He nodded his head and smiled. "well then, May the gods smile on you both with healthy cubs." he said. He was very glad for the two of them, and he knew that both strong femals as they where they would produce fine heirs. Not to mention he was going to be an uncle to an already fairly large family. On the topic of game his smile faded some, he nodded his head slowly. "There is prey to the south and east. With the dry season approching they will be staying along the rivers. I think for the most part we will be fine in the coming months."

She dipped her head t ohim at his blessing, her smile spreading widely. It was not so important to have his approval, or his blessing, but a blessing it was and it was welcome no matter what. "Thank you, Eyri," she said softly, "I hope that you one day will father strong females for a lioness one day, too."

"That is good to know," she said with a nod, letting her eyes drift to the directions he had been speaking of. She played out a map in her head, then offered him a serious dip of her head. "That knowledge will be much appreciated by the huntresses."

He nodded to her and grinned again, to father strong and healthy lionesses would be a blessing in itself and he hoped one day he could indeed be a father. "I hope so, I would like nothing more." True words as any. His tail flicked from side to side in front of his large paws and nodded his head once more. "Yes, anything to guide them to the prey Im sure is welcome information."

She was more than pleased that her brother looked forward to fathering females, to furthering the blood lines and providing good strong females for the next generation. Too many males were suffering from some need of something greater, abandoning any hope for their souls, and leaving the pride and any chance at being saved behind. To know that he was happy here, that he was content here in his role pleased her very much. "Then I am sure one day you will get to fufill that duty."

"It is, indeed," she said with a flicker of her tail, turning her eyes back upon her brother and letting that smile she reserved for him reappear. "I am glad to see that you are finally home, though, where you belong with us."

Eyri himself had been troubled with the whispers he had heard before his journey, unrest in some of the males and even some of the females. Such talk to him was blasphomy. This was the life he had always known, why would he question it or leave in search of something greater? Forsake everything he believed in, everything the elders spoke of and had handed down for years? No, he wouldnt risk his very soul for foolishness. He already had a long road ahead of him to save his soul anyway, why take a further steps back on that path. He smiled at her, and nodded his head. Her assurance that one day he would father lionesses was something he took to heart. "Thank you." He cast his eyes downward as she looked up at him once more, focusing more on her paws than her face. "I'm glad to be home as well, journeys are only fullfiilling if you have a place to return to. "

Tejasvi knew her brother's heart, though with her duties it did seem as if she had little time for family, and given pride tradition, the least time for him of all. She knew among the males, he would lead a good example, and to have him home where he could do this put an ease in her heart. She prayed the whispers that had begun to stir among that small handful would now be laid to rest.

"Then let us return to the pride, shall we?" she asked with a nod, pushing herself slowly to her feet, with a care given her stretched belly. Though her belly weighed her down, it did nothing to disturb the regal and commanding stance she took immediately. Her head held high, her face serene, she was the perfect picture of what any Adhi-raj should be. However, her ear did flicker just slightly as she registered the sound of scouts retreating into the jungle. She suspected that her aunt was keeping a close tab on her, being that she was so heavily pregnant and refusing to take it easy.

Eyri couldnt help the pride he felt swell inside of him as he watched his sister stand out of the corner of his eye. She was picture perfect and had been chosen well as Queen. He dropped his gaze and lowered his head, his tail lightly brushing the ground behind him as he nodded his head. "yes, lets return." he smiled then so glad to be home, and glad for this fleeting private meeting with his sister. With her duties and status in the pride such meetings where scarce, but each one held a special place in his heart. This one, was even more dear as he knew he was soon to be an uncle and the family line would be filled with blessed cubs. For surely she would have the strongest and most viberant colored cubs the pride had seen in many years.

With a soft nod to him, she let her tail flicker behind her, counting slowly in her head so that she would give the scouts enough time to get ahead of them without being seen. She'd talk with her aunt later, but there was no need to injure their pride when they were simply following a council leader's orders. "Then let us go," she said finally, turning once to glance back at her brother before slipping off into the foliage, confident that he would follow along at her heels. Their meeting would end once they reached the pride, for he would return back to the males, but it was nice to have seen him again. She would invite him to see her cubs once they were born, but even a queen's brother got no special treatment.
