Lady Argentum Draconis Vice Captain

The full moon shone down on a quite hill in the center of a wood. All was quite except for a breeze that fluttered by occasionally ruffling leaves. On the center of the hill sat a female fox, the light that she was bathed in cast a glow around her as it reflected of her silver fur. She sat still as a stone and looked up at the moon taking in the rays.
Night time was always so peaceful. No distractions, no one to disturb her.
Senka breathed in the crisp night air. She always felt refreshed on nights like this.

Gabriel liked the night, it was the time of day that he was the most relaxed. With only the occational hoot of an owl, Gabriel walked silently, enjoying his midnight walk. Here, he had no worries and his only thought were on which way he wanted to travel. As he walked he spotted a silver glint in the night and being curious headed in that direction.

Senka sat on her hill and was quite unaware of anyone else being nearby. As she sat a beetle skittered across her feet which made the silver female jump straight up. She then bounced around trying to find the offending insect, her body moving in what seemed like a slow measured dance.

Gabriel slinked closer to the glinting flashes in the night, until at last he came to a clearing on a hill where a silver beauty was dancing. Stepping as close as he dared, Gabriel watched her twist in the moonlight.

Senka finally stopped once she was sure that the offending insect was no where near her anymore. "I hate bugs..." she muttered to herself. Suddenly she stopped. Something didn't feel quite right....She quickly looked around but didn't see anyone.
Suddenly a cloud floated across the moon blocking out the light and Senka stiffled a gasp at the sudden darkness. She took several steps backwards and got her foot stuck in a hole behind her back foot. The silver female tumbled backwards and down the side of the hill.
Senka swore softly and tested her back paw. It was a bit sore but she could make it home. She then limped in the direction in which she knew the trail back home was relying more on her nose than her eyes.
When the cloud finally moved from across the moon the silver female was gone.

Gabriel frowned, he had been watching the female dancing when it suddenly got dark and when the moonlight returned she had vanished. Walking to where the female Kit had been standing, Gabriel scented the area, trying to figure out where she had gone.
Having caught her scent, Gabriel took flight, figureing he would be able to find her easier in the air, and headed in the direction she had been heading. It was several minutes before the silver glints he had seen before returned and Gabriel was quick to follow.
At last he was directly above her and could see her limping. Landing softly infront of her, "Need help?"

Senka gasped and tripped up again as a demonic male landed in front of her. She gasped in pain as she landed badly on her already sprained paw. "Ow..." she said getting up and testing it. She hissed as it barely touched the ground. "I think its broken now." she said glaring up at him. "What did you think you were doing? Dropping out of nowhere like that. You almost gave me a heart attack."
Senka hopped a few steps towards the male and looked up at him. Even in the half light she could tell that he was a fine figure of a tod. Even if he did seem to lack some social graces such as announcing one's presence on a dark night.

"Sorry" Gabriel said quiltily. Stepping closer, Gabriel inspected the ofending foot. "I saw you on the hill but then you were gone."

Senka tried not to look embarrassed. Had he seen her fall? Evidently not or he'd probably would have mentioned it but it never hurt to check.
"So you were the one watching me...what exactly did you see?" she asked. If he says he saw me fall I might just die! Senka thought to herself.

"You were dancing," Gabriel said evenly, still inspecting the injured foot, wishing he knew how to fix it, "It got dark and you were gone."

"Ah well...it was getting late and I thought I better be getting home. I hit a rock on my way down the hill in the dark and hurt my paw..." she said. It was partially the truth. No need for him to know what really happened.
Suddenly something struck her. "Dancing?" she asked puzzled.

Tilting his head to the side, he looked curiously at the female, "You were dancing on the hill, weren't you?"

"Not exactly." She said feeling a bit embarrassed. Great he saw me getting all flustered over a bug... what else can go wrong tonight? she thought to herself. She then forgot about her back paw and set it down. She hissed again in pain and jerked it up.
"I really hate to be a bother...but could you help me home?" Senka asked. As seeing this is partly you're fault! she added mentally. "Its not far just down this path and we'll be in my garden at the back of my den." she said looking at him.

Quilt crossed Gabriel's face as the female tried putting weight on her injured foot. When she asked for help, Gabriel immediately walked up to her and let her lean on him instead of her injured foot.

"Thank you." Senka said with a sigh of relief. She also had a moment of thankfulness for the dark as she also reddened a bit as he allowed her to lean against him. Even if she couldn't see him well the feel of him next to her sent a thrill up her spine. I wonder if he's good looking in the light too... she wondered.
With that she carefully began walking up the path with his help. It wasn't long after that they reached Senka's garden, it was neat and tidy even in the moonlight with a small stone wall around it. "Just around to the front," she said. "I don't have a back door."
