Hidalgo moved among the browning glases of the plains, searching for green grasses hidden under the grown grass. It would help sustain him while he was away from the river. He was also looking for shade as well from the high sun and heat. Though he was used to it, it didn't mean he didn't like to hide. Finally, he found a shady tree, and moved under the branches.

 Aiane was asleep under a tree. She had been walking around all day and was rather tiered when she finally found some shade, there she rested. When another Soquili came to the same tree it wok her up. She blinked and looked up at the soquili that had just came. "Hello."

Hello. How are you? he nodded in greeting to her. She wasn't someone he had seen around these parts. Though, he hadn't seen many around here. Perhaps she was a daughter of someone he had met before, or she was someone else who had come around from somewhere else, and was a stranger to these parts.

She blinked and smiled. "I'm fine thank you. How are you?" She smiled flicking her ears about.

I'm doing pretty good. Enjoying the shade. he turned and walked towards her a bit, flicking his ears in greeting. My name is Hidalgo. May I ask what yours is?

She looked up at him and smiled. "I'm Aiane. It's nice to meet you Hidalgo." She smiled once more and started to stand. She had lain down when she was sleeping.

You don't have to stand. You look comfortable lying down there. He moved before her, and slightly to the side, and then folded his legs and lay down on the grass.

she was almost up when he told her to stay seated. She looked at him and watched as he laid next to her. She smiled and folded her legs once more and turned to him. "Do you live around here?" she asked turning to him.

He nodded. I live in many places. The plains are my main roaming ground, but I have been across the desert, and over the moutains, and have even reached the ocean. But this area I like the best. There's so much space to run, and to actually move. I like having my free space to move.

Aiane smiled, she flicked her long tail and her ears. She then looked at him once again. "It must be nice, traveling and all. I haven't traveled much thought this is my first time coming here." She smiled once again.

It is nice to travel, but it's nice to travel with someone else with you. it's kind of lonely out there alone, with no one to talk to or help you through your troubles. No companionship besides the wind and the elements, and the other animals you cross paths with. He looked up through the boughs of the tree to see a hawk circling. And you have to learn much from those who are used to traveling along. I spent a lot of time away from this place, hoping that out there there was a place for me. But I never found it. So once again, I'm here.

He shook his head. No, I don't. I've usually just had myself. Not many like my lifestyle. I'm too free-spirited, or wild I guess. He shrugged. I've gotten use to it.

I'd be happy about that. I finally have a friend. He smiled over at her, and lowered his head so he could itch his ear.
