It been at least....months or was it weeks...or Tex sighed she wasn't sure She'd lost track of time, between hunting Wyoming and trying to catch O'Malley time hadn't had much meaning to her. She leaned against a wall in a run down facility somewhere between....oh hell she didn't even know where she was right now either...Except that everyone she was looking for wasn't here and that pissed her off.
She tossed down her assault and sniper rifle and flicked off her helmet letting her short red hair free. She expected protests...every time she took of her helmet she waited for them to come. They never did anymore. Tex growled and threw her helmet against a wall. "Oh ********!" she said going to retrieve it hoping she hadn't broken something inside.

It had been a long time since O'malley was sent on the run. Too long. He was tired of the game of cat and mouse that he and the freelancer had been playing. But it was all for the greater scheme of things, he'd tell himself over and over. He'd kept Tex on his trail, leaving just enough to pull her along like a toy... Like the cat being lead by the mouse...
Sure, he had his own body. One that could sustain him and keep him going... but it wasn't enough. It never was. It didn't have the power he wanted... the abilities... that mind. He hated to admit it, but Tex was a piece of the puzzle. One he desperately needed.
The facility had been their latest stop. Wyoming and O'malley had met there briefly before heading their own directions. It was easy to say the AI was caught off guard when he'd sensed the freelancer. As it were now, Omega sat silently, looking down to the black armored female as she angrily chucked away her helmet, letting her red hair fall free. A rare thing for even the AI to see.
He effortlessly assessed his situation, data and files flying through his artificial mind. Though he knew Tex didn't know his presence yet, he was still at a slight disadvantage. Tex was a special ops soldier, and he knew she'd catch on quickly. The numbers flashing through his mind decided his next move.
The fox jumped silently from his spot, landing with a soft thud over the fems rifle. He'd by then drawn his own out, and held it aimed at her head. "You really should be more careful, Tex."

Tex had just picked up her helmet when she heard the thud. And then came the voice...A wave somewhere between terror and relief coursed up her back. He was here...she ever so slowly began turning towards him. "You never used to a call me that, you know" she said unsure why she wanted to talk to him. "Must be a bad habit you picked up in all those other heads you've screwed with." she said. Tex knew she'd only have one shot at either incapacitating him or getting away and unfortunately she couldn't put her helmet back on. That was a sure ticket back to the hell she'd only just started to emerge from.
"Well? Anything to say?" she asked, offering him a chance to do the one thing he liked most. Rant.

O'malley smirked beneath his helmet. "Must be." He stared at the fem behind his helmet, watching for any movement he didn't see fit. She may have had more skill than him, and undoubtedly she knew that, but he knew everything about her. All her skills, her moves... Her weaknesses. An advantage she didn't have on him. They weighed each other out perfectly, making them an almost terrifying match in a fight. A fight he knew he didn't want to take part in. Though he couldn't feel the emotion, he knew the only word to describe what he knew he'd feel would be fear.
"There is so much I'd like to say, but all for another time. Another place." The fox lowered his gun towards her back leg, keeping his eyes fixed on her face. "Can't have you getting too close now, can we? That would be foolish of me." He knew his next move was to pull the trigger, immobilizing her while he made his escape, but he hesitated. A reason not even he understood.

Tex's eyes narrowed, Shot at me damn you!, she yelled at him in her thoughts almost forgetting that he couldn't hear her. It was force of habit, and something she hadn't broken herself of yet. Sometimes she'd forget he wasn't there and try to talk to him...not that there conversations had ever been very productive when he had been in residence. They were both two very dominate personalities and the clashes had been epic when she'd first received him. Sometimes her head still hurt in remembrance.
"And you're never foolish are you." she said. "Never make a mistake do you?" she was trying to get a rise out of him. That was the only way they were going to get out of this stalemate. "I'll tell you one mistake you made right now....You kept leaving me." she said. WTF!? why had she said that...

A shot rang out through the air as Tex finished her words. The bullet ripping into the flesh of her leg, slowed by the armor that protected it. The metal would tear away at her muscles, but the AI knew she would recover. He'd aimed his shot carefully, and knew she'd be back on his trail in no time.
"Soon I wont be making that mistake anymore." He spat the words at the fem, irked by her words. "It's only a matter of time until I'm back in that head of yours, Allison." He padded over and kicked her rifle off a distance, not wanting to leave her for dead, but wanting assurance at an escape. "There's so much we've to catch up on." He mocked, turning to the red head as he spoke. "And I'm sure a part of you misses the company." He chuckled slightly, that familiar ring of malice in his voice, echoing off the walls tauntingly.

Tex gritted her teeth as the shot tore into her leg. She refused to scream, to give him the satisfaction of knowing he'd hurt her. But then as he turned to taunt her she snapped. She lunged for him, her face contorted by some cross between rage and another emotion she refused to admit. She didn't miss him...she'd never missed him.
Her body plowed into his and she began to beat him with her helmet. She didn't need a weapon, she'd tear him apart with her own bare hands.

O'malley braced himself as he saw the fox lunge, helmet in paw. He hit the floor with a loud thunk, his armor grinding against the cement awkwardly. After a second of gaining a grasp on the situation he laughed, her helmet hitting hard against him and his armor. A grin came over his face as he let the fem bash him, not giving much of a struggle.
After a moment he pulled back his legs, thrusting them into the almost hysterical foxes stomach, pushing her back and onto the floor. He quickly stood, pinning her down with an expertly placed paw over her leg. "Unlike you, Allison, I can't feel the pain this body does." He placed pressure on the area he knew where the bullet sat, his violent nature savoring every second of it. He could feel the blood ooze out from the wound, the thick liquid staining to bottom of his boot. He smirked behind the helmet that separated him from the fem, pulling his face close to hers. "You're such a fool when you're angry."

Tex grunted as she was sent backwards. The impact on the concrete temporarily knocked the wind from her. She scrambled trying to get back up but then felt the pressure he'd applied to her leg.
Tex tried to swallow the howl of pain but it escaped anyway as she felt the bullet grate along the bones in her leg. She nearly blacked out but fought to remain awake. Passing out now was more dangerous than any bullet wound could be.
Tex felt herself lifted to O'Malley's face plate. Her eyes burned with rage as he spoke to her. She spit on his faceplate and glared at him. "I Hate you." she said shaking with rage. She didn't know why she said it. It wasn't as if he'd care.

"Tch." O'malley simply grinned under his helmet, throwing her back against the ground before getting off her. He'd done his damage and decided it was more than enough. He padded over to his rifle which was discarded somewhere during the fight. He picked it up and turned to Tex, wiping away the spit that ran down his visor. "I'd stay down this time if I were you. You should know better than anyone you've got it easy with me."
He simply stood and stared at the mess Tex was, almost daring her to try it again. He looked to the puddle of blood she lay in, frowning slightly. He hadn't meant for it to get to that point, but she put herself there. He wouldn't feel pity for her, even if it were possible for him to do.

Tex looked up at O'Malley. Sweat plastered her hair to her face as she struggled to bring her legs up and under her. "I won't let you get away this time...I won't let you get away with whatever you're trying to do!" She took a few shaky steps towards him. "I won't...let you!" she growled.
Would he shot her again? Tex wasn't sure and something almost wanted to make her say no. If he'd wanted to kill her he'd had lots of opportunity to do so. She coiled her back legs under her ignoring the flash of pain that flared up her leg and lunged at him again this time activating her suits invisibility.

"You're almost at breaking point, Allison. Don't be stupid." O'malley hissed as he watched her fight to stand. He turned to face her, not willing to expose his back to her. He growled as she lunged, suddenly losing sight of her. His vision shot immediately to the trail of blood that splattered onto the floor in her wake, and had just enough tome to dodge the brunt of the attack.
He noted the impact on his right shoulder as he reeled slightly, not feeling the pain, but feeling the weight of the limb increase as it dislocated from its socket. He furrowed angrily, shifting it quickly and painlessly back into place before she came back for a second attempt. He could tell his right arm wasn't functioning at full capacity, and switched the gun to his opposite hand. "Give it up, fool." He hissed, watching the ground for signs of the fem.

After she'd struck him rather haphazardly Tex spun and dodged behind him. She watched him relocate his shoulder without a sound and noticed him watch the ground. Tex looked down herself and noticed the blood starting to show on the ground where she was standing. Damn! she swore silently. She only had two choices, either attack again or make a run for it. If she ran she might never find him again, if she attacked...well...
Tex shook her head and lunged at her former AI again. This time catching him in a hold with his front paws spread as far as she could get them. With luck his dislocated arm would be damaged and she might have a chance.
"You forget...I never did know when to quit, now did I?" she hissed into his ear.

O'malley stood silently scanning the area ahead him, and listening the the areas behind him. He'd heard her lunge from behind and braced himself, growling as he fell forward, his arm dislocating once again. The chin of his helmet his the ground, screeching slightly against the cement below.
He chuckled slightly, the sounds coming out muffled and distorted from the angle he lay pinned at. "You forget. I'm an AI. I don't forget anything." He spat the words back at her, shifting his weight onto his dislocated arm, the limb shifting limply out of his way, gaining slack on his left front leg which he used to swing the front of his gun into the side of the freelancers head.

Tex's eyes widened as the muzzle of the gun came up to her head. She couldn't risk doing much of anything now. It was stalemate again.
"So..." she hissed at him again. "Can you really kill me?"
Her leg was throbbing and was threatening to make her pass out from the pain. Just a little longer... she thought to herself. "DO IT!" she yelled at him. "I never wanted you! I never wanted to save you! And I know you hate me for it! So whats it gonna be, Omega?" she said leaning in close to him.
