WELCOME ONE AND ALL...
...to the second annual Battle City Tournament, hosted by the Kaiba Corperation. We hope everyone who joins has a wonderful and entertainign time during this year's tournament. Laster years winners have all been invited to come back. We also hope to see many new contestants as well. Remember the entire city is up for grabs in the free roaming contest of wits and skill. As long as you remain within the city, your duels will qualify. Step out of the city and you forfeit your place in the tournament. Now I wish you all the best and let the games begin!!

Takashi walked down the street in Domino City. He couldn't believe he was here. It was only a few short weeks ago that he was sent a letter from the Kaiba Corperation saying that he was good enough to join the Battle City tournament. He didn't think he was. He had gotten second place at a few tournaments, a couple thirds here and there, but Battle City? He wasn't that good was he. He stopped for a moment as his black hair blew into his eyes. "GAH IT BURNS!" he shouted. A few people looked over, most gave a small laugh. He smiled back, embarassed. He pulled out his cigarettes and lit one. He hoped he did well here. He would probably never hear the end of it if he went home early on in the tournament. He pulled out his deck to look at his rarest card. "Don't fail me, I know you haven't yet, but this is the big time, we don't know what we are gonna be able to do here. If anything at all." He put his cards back and headed down the road in search of his first opponent.

Squishy was smiling and skipping down the road happily. Her deck was tucked securely in a bag attahced to her inner thigh beneath her skirt. She had begun to hum to herself when she heard shouting behind her.
"GAH IT BURNS!" cried a teenaged boy. He was fiddling with a pack of cigarettes and his deck, and Squishy watched apprehensively.
If he's not careful he's going to light his cards on fire, she thought to herself.
The boy began walking donw to the road and before she knew it, he had walked right into her, knocking her to the ground with a small yelp.

Takashi stumbled after bumping into a very cute girl. "Oh! I'm terribly sorry. Are you okay?" Takashi threw his cigarette to the ground and stepped on it as he walked to the girl. As he extended his hand, he spoke, "Did I hurt you?" Just then, he noticed the duel disk on her arm. His eyebrow rose.

Gakkkh walked down the street by himself. He looked down each road to try and find a duel if not just a duelist that he could beat. It had been six years since he started dueling and he had yet to lose a tournament this one would be no different, he thought. He smiled to himself and continued down the road to find his first locator card.

She sat up and looked at him innocently, "I'm fine!" she declared happily, but then a frown spread across her face, "You know... smoking is bad for you!" She had a pouty look on her sweet face.

"Huh???" he realized what she meant and chuckled. "Yeah, I guess it is." Takashi reached down and grabbed the young girl and put her back on her feet. "I notice you have a duel disk, are you in the tournament?"

She giggled and nodded, curtseying and twirling.
"I'm Squishy!" she exclaimed, "Why, you look like you want to duel me! I accept your implied challenge which I am boldly assuming you are challenging me with... and shall twart you with my infinate CUTE!!!"

Takashi laughed again, "Alright then," he activated his duel disk and drew five cards. "Ladies first," he bowed to her.

She grinned and took 6 cards from the top of her deck. She grinned knavishly.
"I place one card in denfense position and then I play a Wave Motion Cannon!" she grinned again, "During each of my standby phases it collects 1000 points and once it gets to 8000 and I launch it at you, you shall perish beneath its infinate CUTE!"

"Uh," Takashi raised an eyebrow. "Ok I'll set one card face down then summon Elemental Hero Burstinatrix. Go Burstinatrix attack her face down monster."
