User ImageTheia blinked her green eyes at the sudden brightness as she padded out of the deep shadows of the trees. She wagged her little fluff of her tail as she grinned happily. It was a nice day, a bit too hot, but absolutely summer-ish as possible. She shot a quick glance at the kit beside her, it was rather strange being a mother. Ah well, at least she finally knew where babies came from...boxes. She pranced happily across the big yellow beach towards the cliff with the lone tree on it, the sand scorching her paws though she paid them no attention. Perhaps Aeolus was there today? What fun it would be to see him again! Fun, fun, fun! She grinned happily as she hummed a merry turn as she continued her way, completely unaware that she was over an hour late of the appointed time.

Juliet looked up at her mother in mild concern. Perhaps she was getting a bit too excited? Alas, when shall Mother receive some logic? She sighed and padded her way across the beach, the sun glaring on her fur, the sand feeling like a gigantic hot pan preparing to fry, her, her mother and everything alive. Her eyes strayed absentmindly towards the waves crashing, what fun it would be to go playing there. Should not the water feel good at such a hot day? O, t'was not the time for it yet, she must meet Father and Brother. Curiousity stirred in her heart as she wondered what they would look like.

Aeolus laid in the exact same spot as he was where he met Theia. Right in front of a tree, watching the ocean in front of him. the weather was similar too, hot and unbearable, for him. Though, this time it was somewhat different. This time he knew Satan's 3rd cousin twice removed's daughter, AKA Theia, was coming. and this time, he was not alone. Lying on top of him, complaining about the weather just as much as he had, was his horny(horned and flirty) son, Paris. Where is she...? He was beginning to grow impatient.

A little more patient than his father, though more complainy, was Paris. Perhaps lying flopped across his father's back like a blanket wasn't the smartest idea, as it only made him feel more humid and uncomfortable. "Mooooommmmm, where are yoooooouuu??? I'm dying, in a really hot stteeewwwww..." He sighed, deciding it's best to shut up now, since if he probably complained again his father would tape his mouth shut.

Theia wagged her tail happily as her gaze landed on the navy blue figure sitting before the tree on top of the cliff with a smaller figure on top of him. She let out a loud squeal of delight as leaped towards the shade of the tree and the two figures, shouting,"Aeeeeeooooooolus!" and pounced on the figures. After a few moments, she straightened grinning, saying,"Heyya all! Glad ta see ya both here!" She bobbed her head happily up and down.

Juliet sighed, alas, what madness was this? She pranced rather slower than her mother towards father and brother. As Mother pounced on them, her eyes traveled across the markings of her father. She appeared to have inherited his markings, butterflies were always quite dainty to have on oneself. Then her eyes traveled towards her brother, Paris, or as she could recall what he was named. He had the same horns as her, how intriguing it was. "Greetings! Father and brother. Is it not a nice day today?"

Aeolus grunted, but none the less was happy to see the other, even if he didn't show it. "Glad to see you came," through his blank expression though there was a faint smile. Eventually his eyes drifted from her to Juliet. "And hello to you, Juliet, it's a very.... well, nice isn't always the best word I'd use to describe it, but yes, it is indeed lovely day." Omg, that was probably the most he has ever said at once. Gently pushing Paris off he sat up and brushed off his pelt, wondering what kind of terror he'd have to go through today.

Paris blinked as he looked up at his mother, he looked much like her... "Hello to you both, mother, Juliet. I hope today can be of fun and no fret." He looked at Juliet, she was a female version of his father, same butterfly mask and toes... Smiling to her, he waved.

"Hooray!" Theia said happily as she bounced around her little family. What a joyful reunion it was! Hmmm...she paused in her bouncing, and asked,"Sooooooooooo...what do ya all want ta do today?" She looked around for something interesting to do. Perhaps they could go swimming? Catch some butterflies? Who knew?

Juliet smiled at her brother's wave, it was lovely to see him again. At her mother's question, she paused, pondering what to do, and finally asked,"O, Mother! Can we not pretend that we are in thee Renaissance Age? We could perform Shakespearen plays! What fun it would be, don't you think?" Her eyes were gleaming with excitement, as often as Theia's eyes were.

Aeolus cringed as Theia asked what they wanted to do today. Oh gawd, the terrors... Hopefully now though she had toned down a bit and they wouldn't do anything life-threatening since they have children. He quirked an eyebrow at what Juliet wanted to do, his and Theia's last adventure must have really rubbed off on them... "Sure, why not?" He shrugged, at least that meant it didn't evolve hunting down potential man-eaters! He looked towards Theia and Paris, waiting for their answers.

Paris twitched an ear, the Renaissance Age? Shakespearean plays? It was time to switch out of rhyming for a bit. "But sister, shakespeare came after the... nevermind, okay, lets do it!" Eh, whatever, roleplay did seem pretty fun anyways.

Theia blinked, rather disappointed. Why couldn't they do something more interesting, exciting! Like hunting down great white sharks? She pouted, ah well, of course they could always do that later. She paused, trying to remember all the Shakespeare plays. Suddenly, her face lit up,"Hey! Why don't we do 'Romeo and Juliet'?" She paused again, saying,"I can be Romeo...and ahhh...Aeolus can be Juliet! Paris can be Paris! And...hmmm...who can Juliet be?"

Juliet blinked, why couldn't she just be Juliet? Ah well, she shrugged, it would be quite a joy to see Father be a girl. She paused, trying to think up a part for herself, what else were she be? "Can I not be the narrator? And, hmmm, perhaps all the other minor character as well since we are missing people for those? Alas, hurry now! Time does fleet'st, we might as well get this play on the road!"

Aeolus cringed, he knew it'd end up bad for him some way or another, but he also knew he wouldn't be able to convince his family otherwise, they all wanted to see him as Juliet probably, no, definitely. Containing a growl, he stayed behind the tree to watch till it was his time to come out and... ugh, act like a 13-year-old virgin who was about to have her life get screwed over in only three days.

Paris giggled quietly at his father having to be Juliet, and hid with him behind the tree, wondering how the play would turn out with only four actors and actresses. Yay, I'm Paris, the fairest. I may die but that isn't shown in the movie, though... right now I could go for a smoothie. His eyes twinkled as he watched, ah, it was such a shame his sister was his sister, she really was his type. Hopefully one day he'd meet another girl like her.

Theia moved behind the tree with Aeolus and her son, watching as Juliet stood in the middle, reciting the prologue of act 1 of 'Romeo and Juliet'. She wagged her head happily as she bobbed her head up and down with bearly contained excitement.

Just having finished reciting the prologue, Juliet picked up a random stick on the ground and brandishing it, she cried as Sampson,"Gregory, o' my word, we'll not carry coals." She skipped towards a place a foot or so across from where she originally was saying,"No, for then we should be colliers." She returned back to her original spot,"I mean, an we be in choler, we'll draw." Thus, she continued until the entrance of 'Abraham and Balthasar'. Already, she was getting a little tired, it was hard work being two people at once, let alone four. She shifted into a new spot as Abraham,"Do you bite your thumb at us, sir?"

((Disclaimer: I don't own 'Romeo and Juliet' nor am I Shakespeare.))

Aeolus wondered if perhaps instead of waiting till their parts they should help Juliet play other characters, since it was a little hard for one person to play dozens and dozens of Capulet's and Montague's. Eh, well it was pretty funny to watch still. He sure hoped though Juliet wasn't going to roleplay herself silly though.

((xDDD
...How do you know that I'm not Shakespeare though? >3))

Theia bobbed her head happily, watching her daughter roleplay the characters, fun, fun, fun! It looked quite interesting to play four characters at once!

Playing as Sampson, she said,"No, sir, I do not bite my thumb at you, sir, but I bite my thumb, sir." She grinned, playing Sampson and Gregory was quite fun. "Do you quarrel, sir?" She returned to Abraham,"Quarrel sir! no, sir" Thus, she continued until Sampson said,"Draw, if you be men. Gregory, remember thy swashing blow." and brandished her stick at an invisible enemy. She then stopped fighting and reentered as Benvolio,"Part, fools!Put up your swords; you know not what you do." and beat down invisible swords. Then said in Tybalt's voice,"What, art thou drawn among these heartless hinds?Turn thee, Benvolio, look upon thy death." Then started fighting an invisible enemy once again.

((Cauz you're not! D<))

Quirking an eyebrow at Theia's head bobbing Aeolus shrugged and turned his head back to his daughter, watching as Juliet went from four to one. Soon the prince will pop in and tell everyone to feck off... He looked at Paris, whom seemed to obviously want to play the prince because of how much power the prince has. He rolled his eyes and returned to watching his daughter. I'm going to be behind this tree for a while... he thought, wondering when the party was going to be then, then again, I'm in no rush to go out and play as Juliet...

Theia bounced up and down in agitation, when was it the time that she finally came in?

Waving a club, acting as one of the citizens, called,"Clubs, bills, and partisans! strike! beat them down! Down with the Capulets! down with the Montagues!" Oh dear! How silly all this was with one playing so many? Thus, she reendered as Capulet,"What noise is this? Give me my long sword, ho!" And replying as Lady Capulet,"A crutch, a crutch! why call you for a sword?" She continued hence until the entry of Montague and Lady Montague,"Thou villain Capulet,--Hold me not, let me go." "Thou shalt not stir a foot to seek a foe." Alas, now was the entry of the Prince,"Rebellious subjects, enemies to peace, Profaners of this neighbour-stained steel,--Will they not hear? What, ho! you men, you beasts, That quench the fire of your pernicious rage..." And so hence she recited his long yet winding speech.

((:'D))
PostPosted: Mon Aug 11, 2008 2:54 pm

Aeolus fell half-asleep during the speech, uh, how droll... Once it ended he opened up his half-closed eyes, finally... He looked towards Theia, there was no doubt she ready, ha. but still, Juliet probably shouldn't ply the servant, there was no way that she couldn't read. He looked at Paris, who would have to spend his time behind the tree even longer than he, ha, sucks to be your character...

Sensing Aeolus's thoughts Paris head butted him gently with his horns, "I like my character thank you very much, he's almost as perfect as me, and such and such." He whispered before playfully sniffing as if he was royalty.

Theia wagged her tail in impatience, how much longer did she have to wait?

Juliet sighed, yet another three characters had arrived to the scene, it was Montague who spoke,"Who set this ancient quarrel new abroach? Speak, nephew, were you by when it began?" Then Benvolio,"Here were the servants of your adversary, And yours, close fighting ere I did approach..." Thus began another long winded speech. That t'was Lady Montague,"O, where is Romeo? saw you him to-day? Right glad I am he was not at this fray."

Yet by this point, Theia was almost bursting with impatience and excitement. Why wait not longer? "O, Mother! Here I am!" She cried towards 'Lady Montague'. Paying no heed towards her daughter's atonishment, she continued,"Tis not a lovely day? Shall we go hence great white shark hunting? What a joy will it be! Nay, we shall wait no longer! Time is very swift, fleet'st as we speak!"
