Okay, so I was walking down congress and there is this store called Blackmail.I don't like to go in there because their stuff is really expensive but I saw the coolest hat on the window!!!I ran inside the store and asked how much it was.I was shocked to hear that it was $45!!!! I mean, $45 dollars for a pink hat with kitty ears!!!!I swore that I wasn't gonna buy it but of coarse I went back and bought and bought it. Now I am broke.
Discuss:Overpriced things that you couldn't help but buy.

Well.... I run the gamut from oddities to rarities that one need not really buy... Recently, I did some research for a CD I wanted so bad. I found it, but only two places sold it. One had it for $30, one for $50. Naturally, I went for the more expensive one, thinking it would be better quality. Well, the case was cracked all to heck and the disk had minor scratches on it. I was a bit sore from that one. Luckily, they refunded a decent portion of the payment as compensation.

I really don't buy much of anything else other than pet supplies. And pay the bills, that's expensive enough in itself. I can't believe how much it is to go to the movies and just some popcorn and a pop will run you around $10 or more... I remember when I could go to the movies with someone and get popcorn and pop and the whole thing cost $10... yeah, movie passes used to be less than $4 . Maybe I'm just ancient.

Nah. I remember watching movies every weekend with my friend. Now, it's like everything got so damned inflated. I was going to go watch the movies with my honey, but as we looked at the prices, we said, "Forget it!". We ended up watching a movie we already owned. Damn inflation!
