::swims around, studying everyone, seeing who and what is around::
Bren: *Swims over to the adult and turns upside down to look at him* What are you doing?
::kinetar smiles warmly at Bren and nuzzles him:: "looking for you lot, it seems."
Bren: *Giggles* Your whiskers tickle.
"::keeping one eye on Bren, his other eye watches Jett, not sure he's liking what he sees. or seas, as the case may be:: Is that a good thing, little one? ::mumrered:
Bren: *bobs up and down* Yeah. *Swims around the adult* Are you my daddy?
::he smiled at Bren:: not so far as I know, but I'm willing to be if you need one, little one::cuddles him gently::
Bren: I don't have any family...just a shell. *Darts away and pulls his shell back to the older pony* See? I'm on my own.
If you would like a family little one, I would be happy to be so.
Bren: Really? Cool! *swims up in his new daddy's mane and hides*
::he chuckles a bit::Are you comfortable in there, little one?
Bren: *snuggles around* Yep. It's comfy.
Then feel free to stay as long as you want. When you wish, later, we can go swiming. Alright?
Bren's whiskers perked up. "Swimming? Really? Can we go to the reef?"
of course we can, but you'll have to stay close to me, alright?
Bren nodded. "I promise I'll stay close Poppy." He raced out of his adopted father's mane and started for the reef, stopping suddenly and remembering his promise. "Do you think there will be others at the reef?"
There could well be son, there could well be. :he said with a chuckle, swimming alongside:: perhaps even some others your age to play with.
Bren grinned. "That would be fun. If there were others we could play hide and seek!"
::he chuckled::
"Poppy's laughing. Did you tell yourself a funny joke?" Bren was floating upside down again, watching his "Poppy" laugh.
"I was just so happy, little one, that I could not help but laugh."
Bren tilted his head to the side. "Happy...that's good, right?"
Yes, happy is good. Happy is very good.
Bren nodded. "I see. So I'm happy when I'm laughing?"
Essentially.
Bren: Then I'm happy now. I can't wait to go swimming with you Poppy!
::nuzzles him::then swim.
Bren nuzzled back and shot off swimming for the reef. "Catch me if you can Poppy!"
::chases after him, smiling warmly::
Bren grinned and swam back around him then darted away quickly.
::laughed and played with::
Bren danced around and nestled into the older one's mane. "You can't get me now!"
::he chuckles:: Ah but I already have you, dear heart.
Bren: *laughs* Yes...You've got me. *blows random bubbles*
I've got you, and I've no intentions on letting go.
Bren: *tugs gently* Poppy's got me! Ah!
You... are a joy little one, but now, I think it is time for some rest.
Bren yawned. "You're right, Poppy. I'm sleepy."
Thats a good sweetie pie. cuddle up and I'll guard you through the night.
Bren: *snuggles into his Poppy's mane and starts to snore*
(::mun falls over dead:: you get to log next time....)

::kintar flits through the water, wondering where his adorable son had gotten to::
Bren snuck up behind Kinetar and tackled him. "Looking for me?"
::he chuckled softly and nodded.:: "Yes, I was. I missed you." ::he nuzzled him softly.::

"I missed you too Poppy." Bren flipped upside down, opening and closing his mouth so his whiskers would wiggle.
::Chuckles and nuzzles him again:: "Look how much you've grown, little one."

"Yeah. I don't have a clue what these whisker things are for. Unless they're to impress girls? Is that what they're for?" Bren flipped upright and pulled his whiskers out as far as they'd go.
::he laughs lightly:: "Have you met a girl that you wish to impress?"
