The story starts out like this...
This begins later on in our real RPG, our "God Slayers" RPG. However, it will change the story around a little, such as Einar was captured again, and executed for being a traitor to Aamir. This takes place after Alric has died in Rin's arms (however, we will start with this part, since it will effect this story...), and Rin runs off after Einar's death, believing that it would be best for her to be nowhere near everyone in fear that they will be killed.
So... the story begins with Alric sacrificing himself...

Alric at this point has lost his standing with the God Slayers. Lucifer the most powerful and most heartless of the God Slayers is now in command. A large battle has raged on between Aamir and the Rebellion and our characters are caught up in the middle. Lucifer has been searching the battlefield for Rin wanting to kill her to rid Aamir of the prophacy.
As Lucifer nears where Rin is hiding Alric shows himself to Lucifer. Alric has "betrayed" the God Slayers and challenges Lucifer to battle. Lucifer accepts with pleasure wanting to eradicate Alric from the minds of his squad. Alric knows he is no match for the physically superior Lucifer, but knows that without this distraction Lucifer would easily sniff out Rin. Lucifer toys with Alric as Titan, Aries, and Siren watch the match. Lucifer disarms Alric who falls to his knees. Lucifer without hesitating thrusts his sword into Alric's stomach. Lucifer whispers in Alric's ear " I don't want you to die too quickly, i want you to feel your death coming." Lucifer then pulls his sword out and stands over Alric as he collapses onto the Ground.
After a few moments Lucifer turns to his squad and orders them to continue searching. They continue across the battlefield leaving Alric to die..

Having been watching the fight from behind a couple of rocks, Rin's eyes were wide and teary as she watched the entire battle; when the sword entered Alric's stomach, she felt sick. She wanted to run to him, to hold him in her arms, to comfort the man and perhaps find him help... However, she was alone, and no one was there to help her. So, she was forced to wait until Lucifer and his band had left...
Quickly, she rushed out to him, looking down at him in both fear and worry.
"Alric, oh god..."
She could hardly think clearly, her hands instantly going to his stomach, holding onto it in hopes that she would be able to stop the bleeding long enough for someone to find them....
God, Alric, don't die.

Alric is laying on his back, his head resting on Rin's lap as she tries to help him. He is breathing heavily, looking up into the eyes of the woman he had loved for the longest of times.
"its ok Rin......your safe for now"
He reaches up to wipe a tear from her cheek. His body becoming weaker and colder as the blood drains from his wound.
"You have to go Rin, Run and never look back until you are clear"

She felt his body beginning to loose it's warmth, her eyes tearing more as she looked down at him, allowing her hand to rub his cheek lovingly, trying to contain the shaking her body wanted to do. She was scared because he was going to die, she was upset because she didn't want him to die... and she felt useless, because she was the prophecy, and she put him in that position, and couldn't save him.
"Alric... I'm not leaving you... I... I'm so sorry..."
Slowly, her other hand went to one of his own, holding it gently while her other hand continued to rub his cheek, looking down at him.

Alric lowers his hand, him unable to hold it up any more.
"Rin, don't be sad, you saved me from myself. Without you ...... I would have continued to hurt people.....I can die in peace now knowing i was able to protect you"
Alric: smiles up at her, as he has a content look on his face. He is peaceful and shows no sign of the pain he is in.

She looked down at him still, allowing some more tears to fall as she gave him a smile, knowing that he would enjoy one.
"I wish I could so something... I wish I could help you."
Brushing some hair out of his eyes, Rin was sad, but wanted his last moments to be wonderful... It was all she could do.

A kiss? Could she give someone a kiss, while in love with another? The kiss would not be pure...
Looking into Alric's eyes, she didn't care about this; nor was Einar really a thought in her mind. At the moment, all that she could think of was the man lying in front of her, the one who had protected her even when he was in Aamir...
Bending down, she allowed her lips to gently kiss his, hand still holding onto his cheek as she rubbed it a little slower now...

Alric lets her lips touch his as he takes in her gentle kiss. The feel of her soft lips is more than he could have ever asked for.
"thank you rin"
As she pulls her face away he caughs violently as blood slowly trickles out of the corner of his mouth.
"Rin there you are"
Einar hurrying to Rin, looking down to see the once feared enemy. Einar felt little remorse for him as he layed there dying, Einar not knowing that alric was no longer with Aamir and how he had come to be mortally wounded. Einar placing his hand on Rin's shoulder to gain her attention.
"What happened to him"

Looking up at Einar, she hoped that they would be able to save him, that with him there, that maybe the healer was there...
"Einar, where is the healer! We need to save him, please!"
She held onto Alric as she said this, more hugging him now, since he began coughing up blood, not wanting him to choke on his on blood.

Einar reaches down to Rin taking her hand to comfort her.
"there is nothing we can do for him"
Einar looking around at the battles near them, thinking how they must be leaving soon if they would like to get out of this mess

Alric looks to Einar with the eyes of someone who knows their fate. Caughing more blood he turns his face away from Rin.
"Rin you have to go....go with Einar.....get away from this mess"

"No! I won't leave him! We can save him, we have to be able to do something! I WON'T LEAVE HIM!"
She refused to just let him go, when he was protecting her this entire time... The least she could do was be there for him when he died, so he wasn't alone.
Looking up at Einar with tear filled eyes, she shook her head.
