So zOMG is finally here, and to keep in part with out knit little bunch I've Made the zOMG Clans Guild for us to use. Before you go off and join some other ones, I should point out that you're only allowed to be apart of one clan. Which is why I'm making an announcement in here now so don't be so rash. sweatdrop For now it'll be the UFG Clan guild until a better name can be made or something. xp I'll inform you guys more, or just wait for there to be an announcement from the Admins. xp Here's the link to the clan guild. http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/index.php?guild_id=94659&is_clan=1It's public until we can get things moving.

I was just playing moments ago, but my recipes didn't show up in my inventory yet. confused I am also unsure what to do with the 25c on one of my mules, zOMG is pretty much what I saved those for, but I dunno what to waste it on now.

So I imagine it's just like clans or guilds on any other MMO, but if there are differences.. tell us what's up. I didn't play Beta the one day they let us make clans because it's too damned hard to find people you know by being ported to a random server.
Although every time I logged on I saw Mikael Hart talking. Is he a mod here on Gaia too and was accidentally using the all channel? Because I never did find him. Just his disembodied voice. Creepy.

Clans are basicly like guilds only, when you're in a clan you can find your fellow members in the game easily.
So it's that same as any other MMO in that aspect.
Mikael isn't on the list I have, but he could be a mod, or using the public channel.

You mean anyone could use the public channel? Agh... I really hope they fixed that before open beta. D=

There's a public channel where everyone can see and talk in.
There's the local channel that limits things to just your local area.
There's also the crew(group) channel where you can talk only to those in your party.
And there is the clan channel where you can talk amongst your fellow clan members.
By default everyone is in the public format, in both talking and listening.
You can change it to where you only see your crew or clan and talk only amongst them too if you don't want to deal with the rest of the people.
That clarify things for you pyre?

I know what different channels are for. I've played MMO's before.
I'm saying letting regular members use the public channel is just... beyond stupid. I bet 75% of Gaians won't even know how to change channels. It will be bloody annoying, if it doesn't crash the game outright.

Well you didn't clarify well enough, so I didn't know that you've played any MMO's before. emo
Well if shouldn't crash the severs as that's part of what the closed testing was doing.
It can lag the game a bit though from what I've seen in the closed testing.
But that's why I change it over to local if I'm not in a party. sweatdrop

That reset was weird. At least I have a lot more orbs and stuff now. 8D Also: one crystal=25c, wtf. D: They were 1c before.

Same thing happened to me. I had to go through the training ground again. gonk
It made things easier to get rings close to level three.
But Leon is still a d**k, and gnome majors aren't showing up. stare
I feel like they rushed things again, there so many fixes that should been done before open beta testing. sad
