Personality: Sweet and rather shy, Kaede is a lithe, cheerful bundle of fur who, once you get to know him, can actually be very chatty. In front of strangers, however, he retreats, usually by hiding behind Llia or inside her cloak. He loves eating and napping in obscure places, though sometimes he is silly and picks spots that only set him up for disaster. Behind the door, for instance. And he very much enjoys the occasional game of tag.
Past: Kaede emerged from demonic couch on Halloween, having been tossed out by Zero. Apparently he was flying along, minding his own business, when the couch swallowed him up - Kaede sustained a concussion and went into a coma, which he awoke from when I stuck my hand into the couch and hauled him out. x3 Thanks to his long holiday in the couch and the injury to his head, Kaede does not recall his pre-couch past and is somewhat out of touch in terms of social skills. His cheerful demeanor and pleasant smile, however, indicate he was once fairly charismatic, and his markings suggest that he is a child of Autumn.

Personality: A Valentine's Noodle, Kisses is generous and affectionate but also petty and spoilt. Mute when she first emerged from the cake box, the first thing she ate was chocolate and she hasn't stopped eating it since (glutton!). Spends most of her time baking and shopping for ribbons, which she collects but does not wear. She especially likes heart-patterned ones.
Past: Llia sent a Valentine's card to Hou-Lai, and received Kisses in a giant ribbon-wrapped cake box with holes punched in the next day. Coincidence? 8D
