Whenever I go in and try to accept a join request now, I get this message:
"Permission utterly denied! Absolute denial! Maybe you just need to log in?"
I am most definitely logged in - on top of that, when I go back to the request listing, the request I just got that error on is gone. But I have no idea whether it sent as an acceptance or a rejection.
EDIT: They are being declined.
EDIT2: ..or it seems, it's telling them they were declined, but they're being accepted in anyway. This is still totally intolerable.
Unrelated - does anyone else have the total guild posts displaying instead as the number of posts you've made in that guild personally?

Wow, haha. I just joined your Guild honey and you declined me! (I know you didn't really) but I am now magically in the members list despite my magic decline!

Awesome stuff. Okay not really. I don't know much about this issue at all, but I'm sure someone here will be able to shed a little light on this problem.

They've been messing around with the guilds a lot lately, I'm not in the least surprised that the join request got ******** up, it likes to do that. In the future could you make posts like these in the glitch list sticky
displaying where? if you mean on the my guilds page, I wish

The Glitch List seems more an official informational guide than a place to report glitches in, but that's just the feeling I get off of it. (And as far as those Guides, do you think you'll find a chance in the next few days to consolidate them all/or otherwise organize them a little like you were talkin about? )

what was I talking about?
In the original CG the glitch list was a place to report glitches you hit so the devs can find then conveniently, as well as possibly find workarounds other members have found

does it happen every time, or just a lot?
if it happens on all of them you could just go into the habit of declining all of them then inviting those you normally would have accepted, including an explanation of why

It happens everytime you accept someone. I've put a "disclaimer" on my guild's home page about it.

Yeah I've had to put a disclaimer on both my front page and in the Clan, and I still get so many upset PM's and people posting thinking they haven't been accepted.
I even spoke to someone in the Clan-Chat on zOMG who was shocked they could talk there and had thought I had something against them since they thought I had 'declined' them.
Has there been any official announcements about this from anyone?

None that I've seen. It's something that needs to be addressed, because I've accpeted quite a few people lately to both my guild and my clan and even with the disclaimer I think they think they've been declined - not many of them are posting. I PMd clan members the other day, but today I am going to work on the guild ones. But without mass PMing it's a pretty hefty task to individually PM each one (especially when you have to wait between PM's). gonk
Should I make an "official" Guilds Glitch List in the Bugs & Technical Support forum and ask members to post their glitches there and keep a running list for the mods to see?
